Witnesses are being sought after two men were punched and kicked by a gang of teenagers in a Cannock supermarket last month. The attack happened in the Tesco Express store on Heath Way.
The young gang are being chased by police after a 21 and 22-year old were assaulted as they left the Tesco Express store on Heath Way, Heath Hayes.
The two men, who went into the store to buy beer, were approached shortly after 11.45pm on Thursday, July 24 by about nine teenagers who demanded the booze.
When they refused they were kicked and punched, sustaining facial injuries. All of the gang were described as teenagers and some have descriptions.
One was a white girl aged between 14 and 16-years-old, about 5ft 5in tall and of slim to skinny build. She had black hair in a ponytail with a large black fringe and was wearing a grey hooded top with pink writing on.
Another was a white male aged between 16 and 17-years-old, of medium build and about 5ft 10in tall. He was wearing a black cap, black shirt and blue jeans.
Another white male aged between 16 and 17-years-old, was about 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a grey tracksuit with black writing, while a girl about 16 years old had black hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a white top and jeans.
Another white male aged between 16 and 17-years-old was described as slim.
