We can all do it, but some can do it better than others - DANCE!

Video journalist Nicky Butler went along to dance company Fusion, based at St Michael’s CE High school in Rowley Regis to see how dance influences students and even learn a few moves to help her on the dancefloor!

Fusion was started by Extended Schools Project Coordinator, Kerry Garbett because of her passion for dance. St Michael’s has always maintained a strong dance background which she wanted to develop further by providing opportunities for students to improve their skills and explore different areas.

Fusion Dance company has gone from strength to strength since it began in 2004 and has already taken part in some major events such as; performing at The Hawthorns prior to West Bromwich Albion home games, taking part in local dance festivals and launching their own project for Childline.

Their main objective is continuing to provide opportunites for dance students in Sandwell and the local community that would be available to them if they lived in London.
