Recruiting is under way now for a giant £15 million car supermarket that is taking shape in Stafford.
The huge outlet will be a “one-stop shop” to cater for all motoring needs when it opens in the autumn.
Bosses are currently on the lookout for staff – including sales executives and MOT technicians.
The roof has just gone on the new Arnold Clark Motorstore, at Primepoint 14, near junction 14 of the M6.
It is due to open its doors in October and bosses are currently recruiting staff in the Stafford area.
The custom built showroom will house around 900 vehicles and employ more than 100 workers.
The eye-catching 74,000 sq ft building is designed by Jim Opfer, of Opfer Logan Architects.
It has an enormous nearly-new car showroom which holds more than 200 cars and boasts some of the latest technology in the motor trade.
Arnold Clark has specially designed a computerised stock locator system that gives customers’ access to more than 15,000 cars from the company’s UK-wide stock.
Chairman and chief executive Sir Arnold Clark said: “The new Motorstore in Stafford covers the whole motoring spectrum. It really is a one-stop motoring shop.
“It will offer customers everything from the best value car insurance, warranty and servicing on the market, to a state-of-the-art repair centre that includes a large bodyshop and parts department, 12 vehicle servicing bays and an eco-friendly valeting department.”
Bosses are now recruiting for a variety of positions including sales executives, sales managers, MOT technicians and office personnel.
Sir Arnold added: “I would like to invite residents of the local and surrounding areas to become part of the future of Arnold Clark by contacting our recruitment department.
“Anyone interested should contact us on 0845 602 3232 to discuss the many opportunities for employment that we can offer within the Arnold Clark organisation.”
Work on the massive Stafford development started about a year ago.
