Birkinshaw back for the Brummies

brummies.jpegBirmingham aim to get their home form back on track when Redcar visit Perry Barr tonight (7.45pm).

The BRC Roofing Brummies are keen to build on their away win over Newcastle on Sunday and will have James Birkinshaw back at reserve to bring them up to full strength.

Redcar include 1992 world champion Gary Havelock, who was renamed in the Bears side after agreeing to a new pay structure at the club.

Brummies manager Graham Drury said: “We have to get back on the right track at home as quickly as possible, there is no question about that.

“Birko is a determined lad and wants to do well for us.”

The meeting will be followed by academy action, as the Mercom Bulls face Coventry Cougars.
