This is nothing new from Sainsbury’s they do this from time to time spend over £50 on shopping to get 5p off per litre of fuel.

I do think it is time for the government to look at the rising costs of petrol and maybe lowering fuel duty. As Crispy said RIP OF BRITAIN.

It does not matter who gets in, they won’t drop the fuel tax, beer tax, cigarette tax, etc. It used to be the rich got richer and the poor got poorer and now we all get poorer. I am law abiding, but do see why fuel theft will rise and some ways side with the criminals. Normal citizens would be tempted to buy 25 litre tubs of diesel for £15 and folk are selling it. Where are these green taxes going ? Not to Europe to combat global warming, but straight in the coffers of the government. The majority of people will notice that the new green tax on cars only benefits afew and most actually increases. (Surprize surprize!) The government say it is so that people will buy newer more greener cars. Well Alistair Darling just put on a new £1,000 tax on new cars, so he is a Darling isn’t he ?
We should do as the French farmers do and asd the police have not had a rise, they will probably join with us ? RIP OFF BRITAIN.

Nice to see the stores making a price war. They do it to gain customers - more money through the tills.
If you are going to Tesco for fuel, may as well do your weekly shop there too while in the area….
They can cut fuel price as much as they like but they don’t exist as a social scheme to provide cheap fuel, they exist to make a profit.
