Kapo out Bent in at Blues

Birmingham midfielder Olivier Kapo has left the Blues to join Wigan Athletic - as a Latics star from last season checked into St Andrews.

The Blues have completed the capture of Charlton striker Marcus Bent, who spent last season on loan at Wigan, from under the noses of Championship rivals Cardiff in a £1million deal.

Kapo has rejoined former Blues manager Steve Bruce at the JJB Stadium after signing a three year deal, for a fee of £2.5m rising to £3.25m with add-ons.

The 27-year-old leaves St Andews having made 26 appearances, scoring 5 goals, in a one season stay.
