Albion revamp technical department

Albion have continued their march into the new age of hi-tec back-up for managers by expanding their sports science department.

The Baggies recruited former Blues’ fitness coach Dan Harris to become the new Head of Sports Science at The Hawthorns.

The 28-year-old has spent the last two years at St Andrews, playing a key role in setting up a comprehensive in-house sports science department to closely monitor players’ fitness.

Albion sporting & technical director Dan Ashworth said: “Both Tony and I are delighted to welcome Dan to the club.”
