Charity boxes destined for a Wolverhampton hospice have been stolen from a hair salon in Claverley.
The collection tins were in aid of Compton Hospice and the Royal National Institute for the Blind. They were stolen along with valuable equipment from Sage Hair Studio in High Street.
Devastated proprietor Linda Sage said today: “I just find it really shocking. I have been here for 20 years and this is the first time I have ever been broken into.
“I think it is just disgraceful they have stolen the charity boxes.”
The thieves broke in some time between 10pm on Thursday and 8.45am on Friday by forcing a door open. Their haul also included products, make-up and hairdryers. Anyone with information can call 08457 444888.
