Money joins Magpies as youth boss

Walsall manager Richard MoneyNewcastle have appointed former Walsall boss Richard Money as academy director.

Money will oversee the development of the club’s potential stars of the future, as owner Mike Ashley attempts to grow his own talent.

A former Liverpool and Fulham defender who was capped at B level by England, he has worked in Sweden and Australia.

As Richard parted on such good terms with Walsall no doubt we can look forward to some of their exciting young talent joining us to progress their football education in the future.

I have nothing against DD. It is now becoming more clear that the reason he left is not because “he took the club as far as he could” BUT the club were not willing to take him and the town forward => this is evident by the statement that we will only sign free transfers. Hands up all those that saw it coming !!!

Does anyone remember the good old days when the express & star carried reports on Walsall FC. Stafford Rangers have had more column inches than The Saddlers in the last fortnight.

Nothing for E&S to write about!
A few coloumn inches about Tribute Nights in the Bonser Suite in the classifieds……..that’s the only press coverage the club are getting! And they have paid for that!

    Great pic of DD!!!!!!!

Send us your young talent then eh Dickie?

So he didn’t leave for a bigger job then? The question must be asked as to why he did leave. Clearly your chairman selling your best players at the key point of the season might have encouraged him to go elsewhere. Interesting.

Oh well, lets all hope you do ok next season.
