Hednesford manager Dean Edwards has completed the signing of former Manchester United youngster Nicky Carter.
The versatile midfielder joins from Gresley Rovers, a side he skippered last season. He is no stranger to the area, living locally in Rugeley.
The 26-year-old has also represented Nottingham Forest, Stafford Rangers, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield Town, and Leek Town.
His arrival comes hot on the trail of Boldmere St Michaels manager Mick Bayley joining the Pitmen as first team coach.
