Toddler dies in garden pond

A three-year-old boy has died after being found floating in a garden pond in Birmingham.

The toddler was found in the garden of a house in Anderton Park Road, Moseley, an hour after he was reported missing.

Police officers administered CPR to the child at the scene before he was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where he died just before midnight.

The boy was visiting relatives when he went missing, neighbours said.
