Future looks bright for the ‘Heads

The FutureheadsSunderland punk poppers The Futureheads are set to rock the halls of Shrewsbury’s Buttermarket this summer with a concert to mark the release of their new album This Is Not The World.

The album was recorded in just three weeks during the band’s stay in Andalusia, at the home studio of producer Youth (Primal Scream, The Verve), perched high up in the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

It’s the third album in a series of critically-acclaimed forays into the energetic world of punk pop, and has been described as having “the excitement, urgency and vigour of The Futureheads with the added control, sincerity and maturity employed on News & Tributes.”

The Futureheads will play The Buttermarket on 30th June.
