‘Bird man’ feeds the herons

Known to locals as ‘the bird man’, Alan Moffet from Kingswinford provides us with a rare sight of watching him feed herons at a remote sight near Ashwood Nurseries in Kingswinford.

Up to 30 of these normally shy birds land within minutes of food being left where they continue to feed for a period of 20 minutes.

He has been feeding his much beloved birds for the past 40 years, spending on average £60 a week.
