Thousands of people made the most of the summer sunshine to get a glimpse of vintage vehicles at a Wolverhampton beauty spot.

It was all systems go for the annual Steam and Vintage Rally at West Park.

A slice of history was brought to life with the colourful extravaganza, which features colourful memories of the Battle of Britain and the world’s only surviving Second World War Valentine tank.

West Park has also become home to 30 miniature battleships, a German Mark III Tiger Tank, a Vera Lynn-style sing-a-long and a host of other displays and performances.
