Digbeth has been an up-and-coming area for some time and now enjoys a frequent influx of hip young things who flock to the area for trancey madness at Air, the spiritual home of Godskitchen.

The latest underground techno beats can be heard at the Factory Club (which used to be the Medicine Bar) in the Custard Factory complex, along with big names such as Layo & Bushwacka and Micky Slim.

Deep house and underground indie lovers head to trendy hangout The Rainbow, described as “an old Victorian boozer” with a huge urban courtyard that provides the setting for exclusive club night Below.
