Ince set for busy summer

wd2084072walsall-v-wrexham.jpgWalsall keeper Clayton Ince won’t be spending much time lying on the beach this summer.

The Saddlers’ first choice will be spending the next couple of months on International duty with Trinidad & Tobago.

The Soca Warriors are involved in the Unity Tournament at QPR’s Loftus Road ground before facing England and Jamaica in friendlies.

And it doesn’t stop there for the World Cup Qualifiers follow for Ince with home and away clashes against West Indies neighbours Bermuda on June 11 and 16.

“We will go straight into the friendlies and then the qualifiers in June, so I won’t get much rest,” Ince said.

“If Walsall had got into the play-offs it would have been even busier and there would have been an overlap.

“But the early internationals are friendlies, so my preference would have been to try to get my club into the Championship.

“Even as it is I don’t think I will have a summer break.

“But Walsall’s management have always been good to me and I am sure we will work it out so that I am okay going into next season.

“It will be a busy time but I have been doing it for a lot of years now.

“You know your body and with the right advice and management you can take it in your stride.”

Clayton Ince to take on Rooney and company.
it will be great to see a Walsall player facing the best that England can muster.
If he has a good game though it might encourage others to come after him.
    I wish him luck.
Clayton seems like a real good guy.
He had a phiosophical review of the past season. Instead of moaning about how we missed out on a play off place he said he had learnt a lot from the experience and that it was a good season for the saddlers.
I agree with him , it was a good season.
I am excited about the new season, new manager and new players to come.
    Up the Saddlers
