Berger ends Villa career

Aston Villa midfielder Patrik BergerVilla have announced two departures – while boss Martin O’Neill refused to say whether he is to make a move for Scott Carson, who has gone back to Liverpool after his season-long loan.

Patrik Berger and Thomas Sorensen will follow Juventus-bound Olof Mellberg as players to go.

“Patrik has an offer from a Premier League side but he was going to be leaving anyway,” said O’Neill. “Thomas has plans to get his career back on track. Scott is in abeyance. I wouldn’t want to talk about that.”

im glad that berger has gone because he caused lots of trouble at the club. now martin o’neill has now got to look for brighter and younger stars to take up his position in the club like for example david bently or Diego.

im glad that berger has gone he never did much for us! im also very glad scott carson has gone as he used 2 miss loads of saves and he was too expensive to buy and not good enough ! also i hope that barry does go !! but i think he might! but he has got to think about how often will he play at liverpool ? not every week like at villa !!!! if he goes he will be greatly missed by the club, his team mates and most of all the fans !
