Super slimmer is now a cover girl

wd2784316heather-jennings.jpgAn unhappy job and relationship led Heather Jennings to pile on 4st in a year.

But after shedding the pounds she is now a stunning size 10 and is featured on the front cover of a slimming magazine.

The 20-year-old, from Dudley, says she feels like a different woman after dropping almost four dress sizes and trimming down to a svelte 9st 4lb.

She said: “I feel great and I love shopping for clothes. I can’t believe I’m a size 10 and I feel there isn’t anything I can’t do.” At the age of 18, Miss Jennings was a size 12 but within a year her weight had ballooned and she tipped the scales at 13st 5lb.

“I was in a desk job that wasn’t going anywhere and I was working really long shifts, sometimes from 6am to 11pm,” she said.

“The only time I got up from my desk was to go to the snack machine, which sold a plethora of high fat foods.

“I would snack on sausage rolls and chocolate and was constantly up and down feeding my face. I didn’t care what I ate as I was bored rigid and eating passed the time.”

Seeing herself in her holiday photographs was the spur that Miss Jennings needed to control her weight sensibly.

She joined a slimming club in Gornal along with her mum Pat who has also lost 4st.

At the same time she ditched her boyfriend and landed herself a new job as a medical administration assistant.

Miss Jennings’ weight loss success is featured in the June issue of Rosemary Conley Diet & Fitness magazine.
