Tragic bike accident

A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a wall which then fell onto him in the Walsall street where he lived.

Rider Ian Box, aged 20, was confirmed dead at the scene in Harrison Street, Bloxwich, shortly after 10.30am yesterday having suffered chest and head injuries.

Firefighters helped to remove bricks which trapped the man and his motorbike.

Police are appealing for witnesses including the driver of a silver car who stopped after the crash and then drove off.
