A car show in Sandwell this Sunday has had to switch venues because the site is waterlogged.
The free Historic Vehicle Show will now be held in Dartmouth Park in West Bromwich rather than at the nearby Sandwell Valley.
Organisers have promised the show will not be scaled down despite the late change, with the same number of cars, marquees and attractions set to be squeezed on to the new site.
The event, which celebrates its 30th anniversary on Sunday, used to be held at Dartmouth Park but was moved to the showground at Sandwell Valley as it continued to grow.
It is the second time in four years it has been forced to move back to Dartmouth Park.
Organiser Geoff Price, who lives in Walsall, said even though the weather forecast was for sunshine over the weekend things had to start being set up on Thursday and the land would not be dry enough.
Visitors will have to use parking around West Bromwich town centre.
Over 600 vehicles will be on show dating back to the 1920s, including a 1923 Vauxhall and a Clyno Royal Tourer.
They will be joined by a display of West Bromwich-produced Jensens Cars.
Meanwhile Warm sunshine was arriving in the West Midlands today – and it is here to stay for the time being at least.
