Goals from Kim Do-Hoen and Chris Brunt assured West Brom of the Championship title at Loftus Road.

The South Korean midfielder scored his first goal for the club, heading into an open net on 52 minutes.
Chris Brunt scored on 75 minutes to assure Tony Mowbray’s men the points, allowing the Baggies fans to begin the celebrations.
The home side were down to 10 men after Martin Rowlands was sent off on 37 minutes for a professional foul on Jonathan Greening.
The Baggies were all-but promoted going into the final day of the season, following Monday’s home draw with Southampton.
They were playing against 10-men after Rowlands was sent-off.
Rowlands was punished for a two-footed tackle on Greening before Kim headed the visitors ahead from a Zolten Gera cross.
Brunt then scored with a precise free-kick into the top corner to finish the season in style for the Baggies.

to all the baggies fans that are trying to wind up the Wolves fans. get a life you have just won the title and your main concern is in what another team hasnt achieved which is sad.
when wolves win promotion next season i wont give a crap what any other team as done. even if you lot get relegated.
ohh raythewolf, i do pity the sad dingles dwelling in the midst of the likes of blackpool, swansea etc etc etc. At least you have another derby game to look forward to… this time the real derby!!!

Please JP, invest in the team. You know TM will do a good job !

beautiful, absolutely beautiful, i have never felt quite so confident in wba in my 21 years as a fan. im lookin upon the next season with great anticipation. can’t wait to see who we bring in over the pre-season period.
i have to maintain a bit of sorrow that we cant see wolves entertain the play off’s this season and the fact that it looks like blues could be on the way down.
but all in all, this is by far the best season i have EVER seen. all thanks to the players, staff, chairman and fans and……..
MOW-BURRRAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!

19. nobody wants your pity and nobody needs it.
we look to the future and we will soon be back in the prem.
I’m right here. Well your two best players will leave now and you will need at least 6-7 premier players to even get near 30 points, bigger club always will be.

Thanks to the wolves fans who are saying well done. But here’s message to the bitter ones, its gonna take a lot to dampen our mood, so give it up, there’s nothing you can say.
So join the majority of the wolves fans who are saying well done.
BOING BOING CHAMPIONS OF THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE!!!
25.if we don’t play you again that must mean you will be relegated next season and never grace the prem again.
laughing stock of the Prem the moanie moulbury way.
COME ON YOU ALBION YOU HAVE DONE WEL THIS SEASON AND WE HAVELEFT WOLVES FOR NOTHING, THOSE THREE POINTS AT MOLYNEUX HIGHLIGHTED OUR ACHIEVMENTS THIS YEAR

chaaampioné,chaaampioné, well congratulations to all the team and staff , especially to king tony in bringing footy back to the albion. First title in my lifetime and i am so proud.
Champions - sounds great to me.
I’d like to think our black country rivals will be in the top flight next year. Its about time the Midlands had some decent representation apart from the Villains. Black Country v the Brummies, why not.
Come on you Baggie boys - we’ll be waiting for you next year Wolves.
I had a dream last night, Baggies won the title, and the dogheads finished 7th…….Then I woke up and it happened, life is great today!
i’m here too, just got back from molineux..nice to see all you armchair boggies givin’ it large.
so i take it the B in wba stands for beacon then?
congratulations STOKE CITY best team in the division by far..pity you couldn’t have grabbed the title too. but hey good luck next season your guarentee’d 6 points off the boggies just like you did this season.
A great end to a great season. Thanks to Tony and the squad after ganes the table does not lie. To all, I don’t hate any other team but I love my Baggies. Bad luck Wolves maybe next season.
Michael No 18 you have given us enough stick this year so less of the bull please. 4th from bottom next year will be good enough. Lets build on this and really take the club forward.
One proud Albion Fan
laughingwold wow! you try and justify your failure by saying we are losing our 2 best players? BRUNT? MILLER? BEDNAR? KOREN? TEX? MORRISON? ROBBO? JONNO? we are NOT the wolves you praise ONE player KIGHTLY boo everyone else and adore anyone whos scores over 10 for you EBANKS-BLAKE
Oh and note. If we need 6-7 prem players why is it we lost to pompey by 1 goal?
wouldn’t we have got hammered supposing your logic. Shut up you jealous chamionship schoolboy
Beating dingles 5 times in 2 seasons = Priceless
Championship winners medals = Priceless
Seeing dingles cry “you’ve let us down again” = bloody priceless!!!!!!

We are the best team in the Championship and have been all season, and today we proved it.
Come on you Baggies!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just like to say a massive well done(from a Walsall fan)Its lovely to see a proper footballing side win something for a change You realy deserve to go up,even more so as CHAMPIONS.Boing Boing. You WILL be ok for next season, you won’t be getting 6 points off Wolves though!!!
This is my first contribution to these “debates” and i would like to congratulate the players and TM for an exciting and successful season.
I am looking forward to next season and hopefully our squad will include Gera and Phillips.
It would be nice to think that our first game will be at home for a change.
COME ON YOU BAGGIES
cheers wolves fans
ur a credit.
come on u baggies and tm
Although disappinted at some of the comments made by “Albion fans” on the Wolves pages, I just wanted to say Well Done! After 46 matches the best team should always win the division and that’s what’s happened this year. Congratulations.
Proud to be a Wolves fan
comment 28 -barmy from the southbank,, get your facts right stoke took 4 points from us this season not the 6 you seem to think they did.. the same amount of points that we took from you!!!!! we are the champions, no time for loosers (7th)cause we are the champions….
southbank barmy army- i believe stoke only got 4 points from us this season! ( as they did with yourselves!) i think that you should take off your rose tinted glasses like your fellow wolves fans and actually be happy that the black country will be playing prem football next season.
it was great to see all the baggies fans making the effort with the dressing up, you could tell that the players appreciated it when they saw us all outside when the coach pulled up!
well done baggies, got out of the divison by playing good football.
now your turn wolves see you next season in the prem, let the midland clubs take on the prem
What a team! We love you Albion we do! Champions and a Wembley appearance again - All credit to the fans players and the supreme gentleman that is Tony Mowbray. If the FA are nice to us we’ll loan him out in the summer of 2010 to bring the world cup home.

We have now got one of the most talented english managers around. please Mr Peace, make sure he is not lured away, and sort out the contracts for Gera and Philips THIS WEEK.

Well Done Boys fantastic achivement this season all credit to Mowbray , Venus and staff etc WE DESERVED IT! i feel the way we play under Tony Mo we will finish Mid Table nxt year id keep the current Squad but sign a centre back (hopefully) Ant Gardner from Spurs and sign some nifty young midfielders and of course a new Goaie (sorry but i don’t really have much confidence in Deano) Bring on the Prem!!!!
Boing Boing!!
Southbankbarmyarmy is one sad little man. Not content with slagging of the baggies, he turns his attention to Villa. Let me remind you that Villa are a well established premiership side. Looking forward to playing you lot next year Villa.
Carry on wallowing in self pity while we play premiership football.
One word to southbank and laughingwolves - CHAMPIONS!
SBA wot gd players have u got apart from SEB and Kightly the answer is none! ur club will NEVER be able to afford the supreme talent the Albion have got! lol even if u do get in the prem with Mad Mick ur will be back to the good old Championship where u belong! hahahahha
