What part of Mr Morgans comment “Our players are not for sale” do some people not understand?

These rumours won’t go away, there’s no smoke without fire.

My predicition if we don’t go up. We get bids from premiership clubs, the players will show some interest in moving and then Jez will come out and say we have to let players go who don’t want to stay at the club.

looks like there gone, with your ageing team and best young players going the future is looking bleak very bleak, boing boing gone up the MOWBRAY WAY

  4. DUDLEY WOLF said:

Looks like Villa will be overrun with goalkeepers next season, Hennessey WON’T be one of them.MOXEY must bear in mind that he will be worth TWICE as much next season, The question is.. CAN HE RESIST THE ££££££ signs flashing in front of his eyes?
I think the GREED factor will play a big part on whether Wayne goes or stays.

I think that nearly every footballer on the planet is linked with the Villa at some point!

If they got 1% of them they would be the best team in the premiership.

Villa never get Wolves players anyway, they missed out on Robbie Keane and Lescott, both of whom would have made a massive difference to their squad!

So I wouldn’t worry too much about Villa Wolves fans, they will be back in the bottom half of the table next season. This was their obligatory 6th place finish. They get one of those every ten years or so!

Villa may need to worry about who they could be losing, rather than gaining.

Martin O’Neill to Liverpool has started doing the rounds, I hear.

i reckon we should go for myhill from hull, good keeper, and have danek as num 2..morning tel alright mate,,,STORMING THE PREM THE MOWBRAY WAY,,,IN STYLE OF COURSE,,,OH YES

Coming on here is an interesting experience!
You see the various characters come and go but I am always amazed at how each teams’ supporters have a collective personality!

This is how they come across to me, I don’t know if you will agree or not?

Wolves fans - Moan most of the time

B’ham fans - Very excitable with little to get excited about!

Villa fans - well, they seem to be a bit thick really.

WBA fans - Have a tendency to exaggerate.

Walsall fans - I don’t really know, are there any Walsall fans out there?

    Just my observations!

  9. wolvesmod said:

the thing is you can’t blame Wayne if he did want to move to Villa? any profesional would jump at the chance. i.e Lescott

  10. Super Stripes said:

bye bye wolves only two good players! Relegation looms… don’t think kites will go to villa… he really ain’t that good!! 1 ok season for mid table team.. oh sorry you finished in play offs that 1 good season.. ain’t good enogh to warrant top 6 team coming in for him!! plus he’s a crock!

Bednar great signing.. love the bloke

  11. Happy_baggie said:

8 - only about 30,000 of the regular albion posters exaggerate on here - the remaining 22,000 are more realistic.

  12. Happy_baggie said:

Super Stripes - don’t fall into the same trap as the wolves did with us last year…. yes they may sell some of their big name players, but there is always the chance that it will lead to greater things…. sound familiar ??

However they would need a manager with ToMo’s ability to make it happen.

  13. WakeyBaggie said:

Guy’s a reality check needed, every player has his price and they all want to play in the Premiership. Should Wolves fail to go up the exodus will start. Hennessey going or Matt Murray? One of them will because neither will be happy to sit on the bench. My money would be on Murray as his medical bills must be huge. Keightly and SEB will also be on the move if anyone from the Prem shows interest. I think the rest of the Wolves squad are safe though as nobody wants them.

  14. Wolves9 said:

8-You do my head in saying we moan, going on about us it is all rubbish.

  15. truewolves said:

in reply to super stripes 10 i wander if he was bigging the albion up so much when keith burkeinshaw was in charge and was in the bottom 3 all season all ways the same jumping on the bandwagon when there doing well. sandwell town will be doin ther usual nxt season W ere B ottom A gen.

  16. Baggy 1 said:

12 Happy not with that great manager mad MM in charge, seen in 1 paper this morning Roy Keane is clearing out a lot of crap players, bet you they all end up at the custard bowl.

I’m right cross that I agreed with your posting and then realised you are a Tesco!

There must be some Wolves blood behind you, did you have Midland Counties milk deliveries when you were a kid?

  18. we8wba said:

sell hennessey if murray is fit

sell freddy if mick stays! as he wont play him

6m in kitty then, hoping there already going spend 2-3m so say 8m

    murray
    foley
    2 new centre halves
    daniel jones
    kightly
    seyi
    henry/edwards
    jarvis
    ebanks blake

keep keogh on bench - not good enough to start but i wouldnt sell him

buy good midfielder, not average joe from scunthorpe, buy proven midfielder for 1-2m

    buy striker loan striker in

    campbell(hull), c.evans (norwich currently)or sign say earnshaw for 3m

    ditch the likes of

    r.edwards - if not fit
    collins - useless
    breen - to old
craddock - if you get 500k for him sell
    gibson - leave
bothroyd - leave for fee, dont realese him, some numpty will buy him for couple 100k’s

if we do what we say that be top 6 side easy in my opinion

    Terry

I had you marked down as a Villa fan,
now you appear to have blown my theory apart,
are you going to come clean regarding you`re
    allegiance ?

Oh, and i 10 squillion times refute the claim
    that us Baggies exaggerate.

WBA is my wish for this weekend …

W - Wolves to qualify for play offs
B - Blues to stay in the Premiership
A - Albion to win the Championship

    What are the chances?

  23. Wolves9 said:

20-You fool it’s called a joke. That is my very point. Iwould tend to agree a lot of Wolves fans are moaners. Get the irony.

  24. terrymidlandfan said:

    22.Music to My Ears

    W - No chance
    B - No chance
A - Possible (But 80 years! Probability is not on your side)

  25. Wolvensam said:

    10. Only two good players? You forgot Keogh, SEB, Jarvis and Foley..

  26. Happy_baggie said:

I’ve just read that Roy Keane is releasing a host of players in the summer - including McShane. RK says they have all “under achieved”..

So add McShane to Kamara & Koumas (remember him - best player outside the prem etc etc..) and maybe Gera should have a good think about his next decision.

Our gaffer gets the very best out of players - not all managers - even premiership ones or superstar managers like roy keane can do that.

Easiest 15 million we ever made - I bet JP can’t wipe the smile off his face !!

  27. WakeyBaggie said:

    17 Whartons,
No Wolves in me I’m afraid but rather than slag each others teamns I just like to have an adult debate. At least we all support our local teams ans I respect that mate.

  28. Boris's Johnson said:

    26. The grass isn’t always greener on the otherside. They took the money instead of staying loyal to the club. As a Wolves fan I am glad to see Henri Kamara is struggling. Has he won african player of the year yet….

As I posted earlier in the week, selling your “best” players isn’t always a disaster. Eleven months ago all the rats were deserting H.M.S.Albion as fast as they could. Smart move, boys.
Of course, the men in charge need to know what they are doing. Do Jez and MM shape up…..?

  37. truewolves said:

in reply to pope you won the last game of the season against pompey lee ashcroft scored to keep you in the division ! YET another sandwell town fan who THINKS he suported hes team for 20 years im a wolves fan and i know that
