Comedian Jimmy Carr will come to Wolverhampton Civic Hall for two dates in November, bosses have announced.
The irreverent star of Channel 4 quiz show Eight Out Of 10 Cats will be in the city on November 28 and 29, having broken box office records by performing to more than 500,000 people in the last three years and earning him the title of the hardest working man in comedy.
He joins an impressive line up of comedy talent announced recently for the Civic including Jim Davidson and Roy Chubby Brown.
Davidson, the former host of snooker quiz Big Break and The Generation Game, will be in Wolverhampton on September 16 with tickets to see him costing £19.50.
Blue and foul-mouthed comic Chubby Brown will perform on December 16 and 17 in an annual tradition which dates back more than 20 years.
Audiences can hope to be treated to a few lines from his hit single with Smokie, Living Next Door to Alice.
Tickets to see Jimmy Carr go on sale next Friday, May 2, priced £20.
