Chief executive Jez Moxey today urged Wolves fans to keep faith with the “special group of young players” assembled by manager Mick McCarthy.
Wolves tonight bid to grab their lifeline to the play-offs with a must-win home clash against Cardiff City which can re-open the chance of finishing in the top six.
Victory would move McCarthy’s side within two points of sixth-placed Crystal Palace with two games to play.
But even if the more likely scenario of another season in the Championship unfolds, Moxey made it clear there is no weakening of the club’s commitment to its young squad or a manager bearing the brunt of the criticism for this season’s faltering results.
“We have a group of very special young men in our squad that, regardless of what happens in the remainder of this season, will be much better as a consequence of playing another year together,” said Moxey today.
“We think they are a very special group who need time to play together.
“Individually honest mistakes are being made by young players which have cost us points – it’s not because the manager isn’t any good or our team being poor.
“It’s young players making their way but who inevitably display their inexperience.
“But if you are going to buy young players at a comparatively cheap price, that is a consequence.
“They will be better off next season for everything they have experienced this season – they are going through something they have not experienced before and they will emerge the better for it.”

It’s not the young players that are making the mistakes its the old knackerd defenders
what a joke this man is should be in westminster if this is mr morgans vision of wolves head back to your beloved liverpool
Young players like,Kyle,Breen,Craddock..the later two allWolves fans said needed replacing last season..TRUE?And if the rest of the squad are that good why are we nowhere near the top of the league..FACT THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
“We have a group of very special young men in our squad that, regardless of what happens in the remainder of this season, will be much better as a consequence of playing another year together,” said Moxey today.
THIS IS TRUE - BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH.
MOXEY OUT!!!!!!!!!!!
will some one please explain to this halfwit, who knows nothing about football, that they are NOT a group of special players, they are just young.apart from seb, jarvis & kightly, non of mccarthys signings are anything for us to be getting excited about.
i agree about the young players, and while they try i will back them, but got to blame the manager for how he uses them!!!
he gets freddy scoring………drops him!!
he gets keogh scoring……puts him on wing, then drops him!!
we are leaking goals…..sends craddock out on loan!!
he raves about potter…. and plays gibson!!
collins continues to make errors…..instead of leaving him out, he keeps playing him!!
foley starts to struggle at right back…… sends little out on loan!!
the list goes on.
players like little, jones, keogh, kightly etc were the key to our success last season but he seems to have forgot all that.
and i seriously think if everyone was on form, he doesnt know his strongest side?
I hope so Jez, but you do realise that a certain number of supporters cannot see beyond the fact that we do have a young side and that it is inexperience and naievity that causes the little mistakes that creep in, that comes with time. As long as the best, most prized youngsters are not sold , then things do look bright for the future and the blinkered supporter may well see this season as a blessing in disguise.
it would be much better season next year if moxley and mcCarthy would sod off to another club
Now what did Allan Hansen say about winning with kids ??
what a load of rubbish he talks!!! Yes the team is relatively young but half of the team are not good enough!!! we have better players not playing than the ones who are ie freddy eastwood, mark little, daniel jones, Darren potter.
The whole of the wolves management and board are watching something totally different to us fans!!! I can’t see how the would consider this season a success. Apart from 2-3 games this season we have been as bad as i ever remember. I’ve had a season ticket for 16 yrs now and i think this is the only season where i have lost interest and not looked forward to attending molineux!!
Excuses. Don’t sign a team of youngsters then! If we don’t go up then Everton will buy the good ones anyway. The year we got promoted was largely down to Ince and Irwin who were experienced players and helped the younger lads out. Someone needs to be held accountable for a poor season. If we don’t finish in the play offs then we are worse off than last year, so we’ve gone backwards. Unfortunatley football is all about results and Moxey is clearly worried that the fans are disenchanted and he’s desperatley trying to come up with excuses for what could end up being a terrible season.
oh dear.
Read between the lines. McCarthy stays for another season. BAD NEWS.
We need Moxey and Mick to pack their bags.
Does Morgan have anything to do with the club? Is he bothered?
Yes,we have some good, young players but stretching it a bit to call them special.Ronaldo,Tevez,Torres are special and by the way Stoke seem to be doing ok without you Mr.Moxey.
There are some young players but MM has discarded the likes of Jones, Little, Lee Collins and Gleeson this season.
Don’t even mention Neill Collins who is relatively young ,no pace and can’t control a ball.
In my opinion now we have got Morgan, Moxey is a waste of time being on our payroll!
McCarthy Out! Moxey Out! And if he doesn’t pull his finger out Morgan Out!
I’ve had enough of all this shambles!
Jez, will you please consign this ‘young and hungry’ mantra to the dustbin? The contempt you show us fans never ceases to amaze me. This story underlines what I already knew…Our chief exec, on 300k basic plus ‘bonuses’ is happy for our club to be established in the Ensleigh/Nationwide/Mickey Mouse league, and our fans get insulted for daring to want more.
Oh, wash my mouth out, I forgot he’s a superb businessman with acumen to die for. Yep, that’s why our parachute payments were squandered, and that’s why Sir Jack wrote off £40 MILLION DEBT when he left. What has Jez Moxey EVER achieved for us? What are his targets?
It’s his managers, his masterplans, and his failures. Meanwhile, down the road, John Wile and Jeremy Peace quietly went about their business, on half the money, with half the pomposity and NONE of the spin.
Please for the love of God Morgan, act now and rid us of this overpaid failure.
We were told the same things last year!
but you go and sell any decent young players who finally make the grade!
Of course, Moxey never gets involved with the football, he’s just the money man….!
Don’t make me laugh!
I could have copied and pasted this from last years article.
How many years does a team remain young and hungry before they are seen has matured?
“But if you are going to buy young players at a comparatively cheap price, that is a consequence.” - Then it’s time to get the cheque book out and give the money to a manager who Moxey and Co. have confidence in for him to spend it. McCarthy has, I grudgingly admit, bought some decent young talent into Wolves at little cost to the club in real terms, but then he’s also bought some rubbish (enter one of several names in here). I remember seeing us on the opening day of the season against Watford and thinking “we’ve not changed” and I thought exactly the same after Saturday - we cannot score enough goals to kill off teams. Until we clear the decks of the obvious catalysts to this scenario (First Team Coach, Manager etc) we may as well look forward to another mid(ish) table finish next season.
Cuddly uncle Jez is good though!
Look at Stoke since he left, dropped like a stone!
….oh, wait a minute!
With so many experts on here, it’s a wonder we actually need a manager….
“Special group of young players” dont think so the Busby Babes and Ferguson young players of the 90s now that a special group of young players that won things!!
I share everyone’s disdain for Moxey. I cannot explain why; I have never met him; but I just don’t like him.
That disaffection does not blind me to his excellence in what he does and says. These comments are jusat “spot on”. He is right.
He handled the situations with Camara, Lescott and Naylor with aplomb and dignity. He shifted out the “old brigade” effectively and at lightening speed. He managed the “seats” situation well, despite being villified for something totally out of his control. He “fixed” Cardiff frankly and successfully. He has achieved high-value contracts with existing and new young players that substantially increase the “nett value” of the player balance sheet. His transfer dealing is secret and it delivers.
He is a pain, but he is very good and very good for WWFC.
JM & MM haters, please get real.
As much as what Moxey says is sort of true, You look at the list shatpankwolves compiled and that does say something!
But then again, this was supposed to be a three-year plan…
Come on Wolves!
its alright buying players, we have done (freddy)but the arrogant blinkered idiot doesnt play him,
the nucleus of a good team is there, but the problem stands with mccarthy, he has no man management skills, he opts for his favourites, MM has to go. the only thing run well at the molineux is sir jacks restaurant. MM OUT!!!!!!!!!
What a load of rubbish. What he doesnt say is if we receive a bid for one these “special players” they will be sold.Just because they are young doesnt mean they are any good.We need to purchase at least 5 quality players next season and unfortunately I just cannot see it happening
This sums up why McCarthy must go.
WBA - Away draw , Home lost: - 1 point
Stoke - Away draw , Home lost: - 1 point
Hull - Away lost , Home lost: - 0 points
Watford - Home lost , Away lost: - 0 points
Bristol C - Home draw , Away draw: - 2 points
Palace - Home lost , Away won: - 3 points
Ipswich - Away lost , Home draw: - 1 point
Sheff Utd - Away lost , Home draw - 1 point
24. NW.Wolf
Not experts, just fans like you!
With an opinion, like you!
Is there something wrong with that, or should you only have an opinion if agrees with yours?
26. Richard Thompson
By the ‘old brigade’ who exactly do you mean?
Richard 26 - just to poke my nose in…. are you really calling keane and Lescott “old brigade” ?
yes they were moved on at a fast pace - but I think they had a few more games left in them don’t you ?
Also it is his job to get the right money for them - this is how clubs develop, and IMO he was mugged for both players.
Players like Ince and Irwin were not moved on - they retired.
I fail to see where Moxey is taking your club - it may have a decent financial base (although its been years since it had to support itself) but where is that taking you ?
I’m not having a pop - just joining in a footy debate.
Me thinks two seasons is long enough for any players to gell,so clear the decks and start again.
A good squad is the key to a good team along with a good manager that can motivate all of them even when they are not involved in the first team.Boing Boing
McCarthy has fallen short of the mark. He has spent too much money on some players that have hardly ever made the pitch (Eastwood, Elliott, Ward - combined fees of nearly £3.5m?), played some players consistently out of position and only managed to find a striker that can score after signing several beforehand. Add to this his persistence with his favourites and obvious contempt for the supporters and it’s not hard to see why we are disappointed with ‘progress’.
In other words “Mr.Morgan PLEASE,PLEASE don`t sack me and Mick” !!!
Sack EVERYONE at the club from physio to Managing Director and that should make the majority very happy! And its easy to do aswell ! Come on lets all try and please so some understanding of the game! It just can’t and never will happen….end of! Can’t we just try and support everyone involved for a change? Not sure why I have posted again as I KNOW what sort of replies I will get!
There is a big difference between ‘young and hungry ‘ and ‘young and hungry with class ‘.
The latter are all with the top clubs.
The former is another phrase for “cheap and not good enough”. These end up elsewhere. Some are at Wolves
gets on my nerves they keep going on about youngsters
last season fair enough, but this season majority are pros of more than 3seasons
the likes of keogh have represented there country vs likes of germany
only youngsters i would say genuinly time is
elokobi, jarvis, hennessey, maybe foley
does he not realise outr regular 1st 11
olafinjana, henry, craddock, gray, collins arent youngsters? then you sometimes have likes ward, breen replacing say foley and collins right back
i wouldnt mind if it was jones, little playing but its seasoned pro;s
who ate all the pies
What a load of tosh. About as young as Hulls players? The truth is Jez, McCarthy and before him Hoddle were poor appointments. Perhaps Jez knows that when McCarthy goes he will go with him. Moxey, OUT!!!
Why not replace the current management with the posts on here, listening to them they are world class managers
“It’s young players making their way but who inevitably display their inexperience.
“But if you are going to buy young players at a comparatively cheap price, that is a consequence.”
Errrrrr, ok so by that you mean we buy youngsters on the cheap who are good prospects and may or may not make it, as opposed to buying the proven quality we need??
I ask you Mr Moxey, how will you get this club in the black next season?? The only way is to sell the best of the young talent we have unearthed………….as before………….
The average age for the squad against Ipswich, including subs, was 25. These aren’t young players anymore considering it’s the norm nowadays to be playing regular first team football from 18 onwards.
We do have a young squad, shame it’s not made up of the academy graduates who shone so brightly last year.
We can take losing and missing out when there is honourable failure, as we had last season.
What is not forgivable though is failing to address clear shortcomings throughout the season. For example, we have been short of quality in midfield all season and the problem was ignored, resulting in a number of players playing out of position(Stephen Ward,Gray). There has been a clear lack of consistent quality in central midfield (Potter, Olofinjana, Gibson, Henry) and injuries to Kightly and Jarvis (who let’s remember came on a free and is a developing player at best).
At the start of the season we felt upbeat as we apparently had a new owner with a £30 million investment added to a promising team with a manager that had done an outstanding job last season.
Now, we have a team that has not played well for much of the season, little or no investment in the squad (other than that that any club with 20,000 plus attendances should be able to make) and a manager and chief exec who are seemingly deluded judging by their public utterances.
Quite frankly we have underperformed again while clubs with fewer resources have overtaken us.
I do not want words of ‘comfort’from the Chief Exec or manager, or even worse fans being told that we are playing well in games when we are quite obviously not.
What I want is a commitment to change for the better. I hope that’s what Mr Morgan wants as well and that he will be taking action to ensure that is the case.
27. i just look at micks decisions, the quotes he comes out with etc. and cant make anything out of it.
sometimes i think is it me imagining all this, but when i looked at what i was typing (7.that list) i thought damn MM is a goon.
i think a draw tonight, loss saturday and a win against plymouth!!
wonder what the fans reaction will be at final whistle against plymouth if we havent made the play-offs???
im not sure whether to boo or cry
WOULD THIS BE THE SPECIAL GROUP..WHO WERE LOANED OUT..OR BASICALLY LEFT OUT..TO ACCOMODATE MCARTHY’S BAND OF MUCH OLDER (FAVORITES) WHO HAVE SCREWED THIS SEASON UP COMPLETELY.
ON YER BIKE MOXEY..NO, MAKE THAT A TANDEM SO YOU AND MUPPET CAN PEDDLE OF INTO THE SUNSET TOGETHER AND RUIN SOME OTHER POOR CLUB.
WE WANT MUPPET OUT..SAY WE WANT MUPPET OUT!!
This is nothing more than an attempt at playing down this years failures. Its all good and well saying we are nurturing young players, and they will all make mistakes etc. But why is this not reflected in the ticket prices.
Fans would be prepared to be more patient if they didn’t pay premiership prices. Instead prices go up each year for little return.
Dear Mr Moxey. Don’t blame the fans for all the shortcomings both this season and previous seasons. They’ve spent their hard earned money and given their time to supporting the Wolves. They deserve better.
If this is Morgans philosophy as well then sod off back to loonypool .Im not returning to molineux till I see some ambition with a decent manager in charge, instead of constantly typing our grievances isnt it time some sort of protest was organised, this is a farce.McCarthy is a poor manager, whose teams play dire football and I have no intention of watching anymore of this utter dross.Morgan needs to pull his head out of his rear end and either act or sod of back to merseyside.
BORING !!!
I have to say you seem to think this JM or MM fault why?
ITS IGNORANT FANS LIKE YOU LOT WHY WE HAVE BEEN POOR THIS SEASON YOW WONT GET BEHIND THE TEAM.

OK, you can go first, why not keep all the same players, I’m sure you will do really well!
Team for tonight and by the way Richard Your opinions slightly laughable
1) Hennesey
Henry
2) Foley
3) Gray if fit
4) Potter
5) Craddock
6) darren ward
7) Kightley
9) Seb
10)Freddy
11) Jarvis
kyle, olifinjana, breen, keogh, ikeme
I agree some of the young players are going to be good - no probs with that. It just seems to me you are trying to talk A GOOD POLITAL GAME!!!
BTW, some of the players also need to be shipped out or back where they came from. Kyle springs to mind - half the strike for as well.
I expect we will sell FE and get hammered by Coventry next season with FE being their leading goal scorer!!
Hold the post mortem for 24 hours at least. We CAN win tonight. Hull CAN beat Palace on sat and then it would not be beyond us to win the last 2 games. I would not put my mortgage on it, but we still have reason to hope and you just never know with the Wolves. we always do things the hard way, raise hopes, let us down and then surprise us. if it does all go wrong, we can return to the argument then, but for now let’s get behind the team and give them everything tonight. Long after MM and Moxey are gone it will still be our club. let’s hope we can look back on this week as the beginning of our promotion finish…..
I suppose we could forget about being a successful football and be happy with a really well run club with no debts!
We could be a nursery club for Everton or a third division club like Walsall even!
At least we would get to keep M & M that way!
51 - “I have to say you seem to think this JM or MM fault why”?
In the words of abdon wolf - Its a real conundrum isn’t it.
“ITS IGNORANT FANS LIKE YOU LOT WHY WE HAVE BEEN POOR THIS SEASON YOW WONT GET BEHIND THE TEAM” - are you Mick McCarthy in disguise ?
I will leave it to your fellow fans to try to tell you why.
Does he mean we should start going to watch Northampton or wherever else the young players are at on loan?
Is it any coincidence that Stoke have ended up looking like gaining automatic promotion since you left and we are a mid table team?
Nothing like a run of bad results to get the ‘clappers’ to stick their heads out!
As the quote from the battle of Britain goes…
“It’s like shooting Rats in a barrel”
cant really knock morgan here guys, he has put a lot of money in.
SEB 1.5m
Eastwood 1.5m
elliott 600k
jarvis rumoured 750k
ward 600k
d.edwards 625k
foley 750k
so whats that about 6-7m on a championship side? think looking at rest thats more than enough ok albion have spent a lot but most of that came from sales of koumas, kamara, McShane and they finally got the kuschak money this summer so whats that about 15m plus they have the davies money coming soon (about 7m?) so peace aint exactly put loads of money in.
i genuinely believe whether you agree or not that the squad is GOOD enough, only short of id say a good centre half to go with craddock and a creative midfielder to creative something when the wingers are nullified but this season there as been too many square pegs in round holes for me when there as been adequate cover.
and in that you have to blame the manager!
If Jez Moxey said it was Tuesday a number of fans would argue! Fickle is probably the word to describe a small section of Wolves fans. (I seem to remember Little being vilified for a mistake against Albion last season, now he’s our most wished for saviour) A number of our young players have been out on loan to gain experience; some have made spectacular progress in the first team. I believe that we are on the verge of a very good Wolves side, we can all express our opinions relating to football and players but this Mick out, Moxey out is beginning to get boring.
Richard Money is looking for a new job
They aint fans happy
listening to beacon and posting on here does’nt count LOL
I’m sick of part time fans crying about our team when they wont even go to games.
Moxey does a good job look at his record for signing players and selling them on,I bet someone will mention Lescott he had dodgy knees thats why he was sold cheap.
All they do is whinge about mick and jez.
59. I dont know what you hope to achieve from calling me a happy clapper pal, I’m as passionate as any other fan on here and some, just because I am able to formulate (look it up) my own opinions and not follow the sheepish bleetings that fill this page. nothing like a string of bad results to bring the idiots out though ehh.
63. lescott had dodgy knees???he missed one season for us (premiership season) came back the following season, played under hoddle. whats that a season and half.
went to everton and is what nearly an ever present in 2years for them, ohh and forgot his englands caps.
so since his injury i make it he as played nearly every game for his clubs four seasons straight???
wish i had dodgy knees like him!!!
64. Newbridge Wolf
Don’t think I named you - but if the cap fits Pal!
63 i totally agree ive had season ticket for 22 years,if anyone should moan about being long suffering ,its me!!! some commenters will only be happy when were back in the red and losing money because weve gone spend spend spend, i for one dont want a bhatti brothers repeat. oh, for those of you who dont know the bhatti brothers era it wasnt a nice time!
Everton were close to pulling the plug on the deal because of his knee injury.
If google search this you will find out i’m right
Everton had delayed the dealby a extra week to make sure everything was fine with his knee problems.
We needed the money too
67. nige wolf
I’ve had one for 35 years and I’ll be happy when we get a good manager and good players and we’re playing in the premiership! Also, do you know something, you can do all that and still run the club well financially!
68. Patrick Star
Are you for real?
I am sorry Moxey, but even playing 10 years together or training with Barcelona for the rest of their lifes will not make the following players any better than the current Championship/League One level they are at:
Collins, Elokobi, Potter, Ward(both of them!), Keogh, and a few others.
Also: Look at McCarthys history. He has NO history whatsoever of developing young talent.
Compare him to Wenger, Gradi, or even Billy Davie or Paul Sturrock and you would see how miserable he is at developing youngsters.
Season over, end of, see you next season.
not bin funny but didnt you learn from last season? i feel for the loyal wolves fans who pay fortunes to see them, for me looking at it, wolves have not moved forward but backwards, with the exception of seb you lot would be worse off. hope you can sort it out and come play us in the prem soon. boing boing.
71. Sandwell
Thats not like you?
You just get sick of hearing the same old spin, we are not top 2 standard, we are not top 6 standard, we are top half standard and thats it, the table doesnt lie. Most of the ‘fan’ problem comes from this constant “talk it up” policy from the club management, when will you ever learn.
I hope Mick and Jez both stay.I dont think they are to far away from getting a squad capable of winning promotion. In my opinion they have done a good job so far.Perhaps many of you expect to much to soon. All the best to the team tonight.
The reason we didn’t beat Ipswich was because Gary Breen gave away a pointless free kick on the edge of our own box. I guess Moxey thinks Breeny is 18 and screws up through inexperience.
What we want for this club is success - not excuses that the team isn’t perfect yet. We have been promised jam tomorrow at Molineux for the last 25 years.
Which young players are you on about? We haven’t seen any of OUR YOUNGSTERS(Jones,Gleeson,Davies,Little etc)all season. Are the likes of Collins,Elokobi & Stephen Ward really any better than these lads?In my eyes the problem is with the stubborn management team, that no matter what the performances are like, their favourites will always play.Never mind skill and flair just as long as you ”put a shift in”.
Same old, same old.season after season the manager gets the blame, macarthy, hoddle, jones, taylor, lee, mcgee.who’s the monkey who’s employed these managers.YES MR MOXEY,the buck stops at him. Get a grip Mr Morgan and get Moxey out.
“Judge me at the end of next season” - was that Mick McCarthy last season? Its a shame Mr Moxey did not say the same, but he is more Politically correct than MM. It’s time they both went and Wolves moved on under new guidance.
Yeah Kyle and Elliott always picked ahead of Freddy even though they have one zillionth of his talent!
26) Totally wrong about the seats on 2 scores. The Albion did not to have the South Bank they should have stood up to the police like Arsenal must have done v Spurs in the League Cup. A pie and a pint- what an insult. Secondly, they are forcing people to move seats out of the Billy Wright upper for corporates. What are they offering as compensation? A new season ticket? No £30 in the club shop.
You joker!
Mick doesn’t play the youngsters because thats what the fans want. Mick doesn’t play freddie because that what the fans want. The guy constantly wants to show he is the boss…..well the clock is ticking
26) I was calling Moxey the joker. Not a fellow Wolves fan!
“They will be better off next season for everything they have experienced this season”"
The comments of a desperate man trying to keep the odd fan happy with disaster and championship football next season.
Can we imagine a call for very early bird season tickets for next season?
Moxey, been conned enough..it’s over with! The team have not gotten close to Premiership football since we were relegated.
freddy to start 2nite?……more chance of juggling soot my friends…..good old muppet mick…..destroying our club
patrickstar! are you related to either Moxey or MM as you obviously have zero knowledge of football at any level?…maybe work for the team but I can’t imagine they allow ballboys to get on here with comments..
haha.
what a joke.
our team of young players were AMAZING last season.
but look at this season we’re playing the “old + trusted” and look where thats led us.
last season for example mark little in the albion game had everyone in his back pocket. this season we used the old’uns.
i wish we did stick to the young + talented !!
this season is so contradicting !
Exactly, so why not play the youngsters ??
This game really is McCarthy’s last stand. Loose this one and there is no justification left in retaining him.
The day of reckoning draws ever nearer!
Patrick Star SHUT UP! I bet you are one of these armchair supporters who never go to a game but always got an opinion. If you saw the dross, the bad management mental mickey has shown this season then perhaps you are the true muppet. Make yourself a sandwich and take it to a dark room and stay there!
#89, wrong.. MM will go on into next season, he is the muppet they need there.
You see both Moxey and Morgan will continue with the “they are just kids wait until next season!” and he will go with the plot which keeps us in the Championship, Moxey in a job and Morgan with incredible value for 10 quid…
He can do no wrong in their eyes as long as season tickets are sold..
Listen to what Moxey said people.
He has stated that the team being assembled by Muppet Mick and the Man himself ie, MM will be here next season and will be all the better for their experiences next season.
As much as it pains me Mc Carthy and his favourites will be here next season and it will be interesting to see how much money it will take for Wolves to release our young stars.
If some one comes in with a bid of 5 Mill for Kites or SEB will we say no.
I hope we do but i cant see it somehow and that will really show what ambition we have.
The club are happy they keep getting 22000 plus in the ground so they are breaking even and making a profit for the board of directors.
One last question does Morgan really give a damn about Wolves as all i ever read about him is his love of Liverpool and no real mention of us.
Why on earth is Moxey even being allowed to make comments about the players performance on the pitch? Morgan, can’t you tell that every time this baffoon opens his mouth in public he generates literally 100 negative comments from readers. Tell him to stick to the day job of counting the pennies and have qualified individuals at the club make public statements about the team. For the love of God!!!!!!!!!!!!
AT LAST!! - the silent MAJORITY are fighting back! Enough of the ‘Mick out!’, ‘Morgan out!’ ‘Moxey out!’ nonsense. I think some of you enjoy moaning more than the football. Well said Patrick Star! – and I agree with others who have said that we are not that far away from being a good side. Keep the kids and move on a few of the fogies.
Now lets all chill out – and enjoy the Cricket season (Thank God for the Cricket Season!)
if we are keeping faith in all these youngers players firstly get rid of craddock and breen and mccarthy and bring in a good young manager, Paul Ince before Man Utd name his as the new No2 ( then succeed Sir Alex at the end of next season as he has said he is retiring) for next year as Carlos Querez is leaving . You heard it 1st from me. We may have dropped the biggest clanger in letting PI leave when he did. Who else with the knowledge of Captaining every team he has played in. We will never get any one with the CV like Paul Ince has . What a mistake by Moxey. A bigger mistake than Keane to Coventry with no sell on clause. I agree we do have some great youngsters but we need a good young manager to guide them. PAUL INCE will be the next manager of Man Utd maybe we could nip in now and get him ………………
95. why get rid of craddock, he is our best defender!
MOXEY IS RIGHT, for once! But will we still have young players next season when the £signs start flashing in front of his eyes? I doubt it very much. MOXEY MUST GO NOW!!
the thing is i can’t see jones or little playing instead of foley and elokobi next year under mccarthy. davies and henry should be our 2 centre mids. keep craddock and get a quick centre defender (like breen, joke) or maybe play litle there….
16 you said it.
