Michal Danek and Kim Do-Heon are poised to land extended Albion contracts that are likely to make them Premier League players.
Baggies manager Tony Mowbray has revealed he is ready to take up options to keep the on-loan duo at The Hawthorns for next season.
And he has backed Czech goalkeeper Danek and South Korean midfielder Kim to make an impact with Albion despite a shortage of first-team opportunities since they signed on loan in January.
“Without having rubber-stamped it with the chairman I would anticipate we’ll take the option up on both those players,” said Mowbray.
“But let’s wait and see because there is a bit of work to be done on this season and then we’ll decide.
“I’ve seen what they can do in training and they’ve just been unfortunate not to get minutes on the pitch.
“Kim has been very unfortunate because of the scenario we’ve found ourselves in, like Michal Danek.
“Every game is a huge, huge game at the moment and the games are too important to risk experimentation.
“I can see the talent of these players but I don’t want to experiment with them in these important games.
“Kim is undoubtedly a wonderful footballer.
“You can speak to any of our players and they will all back that up based of the stuff he can do in training.
“In a less attritional league that is not as direct as the Championship, Kim’s assets and qualities will be there to be seen.
“He’s shown me he can run and compete in training. But at this moment the games are too important to mix things around.
“Would you leave Koren or Greening out of centre-midfield just to give Kim a game?. No.”
Meanwhile, Mowbray has dismissed speculation linking the Baggies with a move for Crystal Palace defender Mark Hudson.
Eagles boss Neil Warnock said he has been told Albion were keen on Hudson, whose contract will expire in the summer.
But Mowbray said: “Nobody at our football has any contact with anyone at Crystal Palace regarding Mark Hudson.

Good I love to hear this guy talk….. steady, humble, but fully confident of his decisions and abilities.
I’ve not heard another manager talk quite like ToMo - only Wenger may come close for his football thinking philosophy.
Seems danek is likely to be our keeper next season - which is a bit harsh on deanno as he has been fantastic in the last three or four games and has probably won us 3 points in those few games - but its onwards and upwards I guess.
Kim sounds like a real quality player - and with Tex to come back and Gera, Brunt koren and Jonno its gonna be interesting next season.
I can see a few lads going out on loan and being brought back when needed - maybe we could have a small feeder club to give our players experience - walsall or wolves would be ideal.
happy, you just cant help it can you, im reading your very interesting notes and then you have to slipit in, small feeder club LMAO
that was a pretty sharp one even for you happy!
Happy; your sarcasm is a joy to read, in the words of Clint Eastwood “You make my day punk”
keep it up..Boing Boing Boinging on Monday.
TM is a brilliant talker! Another thing he has achieved ,that his two predecessors did not, is to have no public spats with the chairman! No mean feat!
JP did well last summer with the cash for players so I hope we have an equally fruitful close season. Could do without any of that kind of tension spoiling the party.
Maybe Danek and Kim will get a shot in the last two games if Hull slip up on saturday.
Seems like you can’t post anything funny here anymore. There was a nice thread going about albion looking for a small feeder club in the lower leagues - somewhere to send our players on loan to get experience…. and now its disappeard.
Oh well, can anyone think of a small club locally who would be grateful for a few cast offs or the chance to help some of our players get fit ?
Even if Hull do slip up it will still be no time for experimentation. We want to win this league.
Let’s experiment when we’ve done the business.
Ah - its back…..
