Stafford Rangers keeper Danny Alcock was named Steve Bull’s Player of the Season.
Alcock collected his award from the manager at the end of Saturday’s 3-1 home defeat by Crawley.
But Bull revealed that there is no guarantee that Alcock will still be a Rangers player next season.
“I have been talking to him about next season and I am waiting for him to get back to me,” said the former Wolves strike ace.
“It’s not definite that anybody will be signing.
“I am offering people money for the lower league – we’re only being realistic,” said Bull.
Regarding his choice of Alcock for his Manager’s Player of the Season award, Bull said: “It was a choice between Chris Flynn and Danny, but if it hadn’t been for Danny, we’d have had a lot of drubbings.”
Saturday’s defeat was Rangers 17th in the league at Marston Road this season and left them bottom of the Blue Square Premier table.
“I was very disappointed with our overall performance. I praised them last week and now they give me this performance – we’re up and down like a yo-yo,” said Bull.
“There are some players in there who can play, but they have to do it week in, week out. They’ll always give me 100 per cent, but today they let me down in the first half.”
Rangers final away game is at promotion-chasers Exeter tomorrow night.

oooohhhh bully bully! oooohhhh bully bully
yeah good point (!?!?***?)! your not by any chance a part of the wolves/bully cavalry that shouted from the rooftops then failed to arrive at Stafford by any chance - still you can still do your chants on here I suppose, which may not be utterly pointless….even though 99.99999999999% may think it is!
hope that wolves remember what steve bull gave to the club, if they can help next season they should. steve bull has been great with the fans and deserves support from wolverhampton and fans.
best of luck steve.
