Another rousing derby brought another sobering outcome for Wolves, writes Martin Swain.

With a victory only few would argue they deserved, Albion once more claimed pre-eminence in the Black Country and, for that matter, in the Championship itself.
With the three points clinched by the Zoltan Gera goal which settled this Molineux contest, the Baggies again moved clear of the field and gave themselves another chance to prove what so many have said all along - that they remain the outstanding team of the division.
That they should make such a resounding statement about their quality in the backyard of their fiercest rivals clearly added to the satisfaction made obvious by their chief cheerleader Paul Robinson who greeted the final whistle by kissing referee Mark Clattenburg.
For Wolves, no-one could quibble about another thundering effort to try to dislodge Albion from the summit of this fierce rivalry. And, with an extra game still to play and plenty of fire still in their bellies, no-one should yet discount them from extending their season into the play-offs for a second year running.
But this was a game which reminded us why Albion have now won five of the seven-match series between current managers Tony Mowbray and Mick McCarthy and separated a team which - for its higher technique and committed adventure - deserves to win the title from a Wolves side fighting to lift itself above the glut of top six challengers. Wolves manager Mick McCarthy was reluctant to concede Albion’s superiority and felt the night had been cruel to his players’ commendable effort.
“It could have been 4-4,” he claimed while declaring his pride at their performance.
But these were surely the words of a man anxious to keep his men buoyant by not having their role in another splendid collision of the old rivals trampled beneath the disappointment of the result.
In truth, and as much as it may stick in the craw of the fervent home support, Albion were clearly superior and to deny that would be a gold and black delusion.
In their captain Jonathan Greening, they had the game’s outstanding player and the most influential figure in the entire drama.
In his midfield cohorts Zoltan Gera, Robert Koren and James Morrison, Greening possessed lieutenants able to weave their way through and around the opposition by simply passing and controlling the ball better. In the re-assuring Neil Clement and sturdy Leon Barnett and Robinson, the Baggies found sufficient defensive steel.
And, most of all - as if you couldn’t guess - they had in Kevin Phillips a player capable of summoning the presence of mind and enduring ability to bring about Wolves’ execution.
For once, Phillips did not supply the goal himself. However, he did everything else but after a minute under an hour of throbbing action. The man who had made a habit of decisive derby contributions no matter where he has been, slipped round the blind side of Neill Collins’s challenge to gather and control a searching chip over the Wolves defence from Clement.
He stumbled under the defender’s challenge but, as he reminded us of his terrific conditioning at the age of 34 by regaining his balance, he glanced across the line to see Gera accelerating into space beyond the remnants of Wolves stretched resistance.
And a glance was all he needed. The delivery was perfect, struck on the run, left footed and ensuring his team mate did not have to break stride before side-footing a sure finish under Wayne Hennessey.
It was a goal which Albion had constantly threatened and had been preceded barely a minute earlier by a move typical of their game last night when they smoothly worked their way through midfield via Morrison and Koren for Phillips to smack an angled right footer against the outside of Hennessey’s right hand post.
That was the third time the Baggies struck the woodwork following a 20 minute opening to the game which threatened to kill off Wolves before they had got started.
Gera, rising with his renowned agility at the near post, directed a header on to the bar from a Greening free-kick, before Ishmael Miller brushed around Collins to see a left foot finish deflected on to the post as Albion’s confident approaches seemed to unnerve, to the point of mesmerising, McCarthy’s side.
He retained his quickest wide man Matt Jarvis on the left perhaps in the hope of occupying Gera and Carl Hoefkens but with Miller having also gone close on two other occasions from opportunities created from that flank, it seemed a forlorn task.
But when Jarvis did get the opportunity to turn the tables, he immediately swept by Hoeskens to deliver a cross on to the head of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.
Unfortunately for his side, the striker could not control the header to get it under the bar but Jarvis’s role identified what remained the most promising passage towards Dean Kiely’s goal for Wolves.
A snap shot from Michael Gray, after he had caught Robinson napping in possession, and one almighty ping-pong scramble following the best phase of Wolves pressure ultimately decided by some vital defending from Barnett were the most menacing moments McCarthy’s side mustered.
Throughout the intensity of the football and the occasion, the spirit which has flourished between these opposing groups of players in the past two seasons was evident once more as Ebanks-Blake and Robinson, followed by Keogh and Barnett, emerged from full-throttle challenges with handshakes.
But the half closed with Albion knocking at the door again as Hennessey tipped over Clement’s free-kick and Jody Craddock dashed to intervene when Greening’s astute pass played Morrison into a clear goal-scoring position.
There was a good deal less conviction about Wolves after Phillips’s goal, even though Kiely had to beat away the one pile-driver Darron Gibson unleashed and then saved at the foot of his post when Seyi Olofinjana, too often a fringe figure in this game, tried his luck from close range.
But the last, desperate launching of aerial missiles into an Albion defence supposedly susceptible to this sort of bombardment yielded nothing but an unflattering comparison with the measured possession and assured touch of Mowbray’s team.

CLASS ABOVE THE REST
That’s 5 wins and 1 draw in the last two seasons despite all the dingle predictions they were going to do us last night. By my reckoning that’s game set and match to the cream. Posts from any dingle prepared to apologise for bad mouthing the Mowbray army or in tribute your footballing superiors are most welcome. Boing Boing!
Good game to watch, Greening had one of the best games i’ve ever seen in the albion shirt, ran the show.
Don’t feel too bad Wulfies, we’re a class above EVERYONE in this division when it clicks like last night, not just you!!
you cant fault wolves effort and commitment but we lack any class and it showed, we have resorted to signing players from scunthorpe, colchester, coventry reserves etc , macarthy found a gem in kightly and now he thinks he can sign a team full of them , im afraid we will be having the same discussions for many seasons to come unless mr morgan does something about it
Neil Collins is abysmal yet consistantly gets picked & even praised by Mick. Gibson is a fanny who can’t tackle or play at any tempo. Olofinjana can’t tackle particularly. Keogh is unbeleiveably over rated. Constantly misses chances, does woeful passes & always blames someone else. These are reasons we will not go up this yr. I do like Mick, but I wouldn’t trust him with my money this summer. Other signings? Potter, D Ward, S Ward - useless
If we scrape into the playoffs and get promoted,i fear we would do a Derby and get thrashed.Getting the necessary players in to give us a chance would prove difficult as we have already experienced before.I don’t think MM will be going anywhere even if we don’t make the top 6 this season, thats my main concern.I don’t think MM is a good enough manager for the top flight, his style of football and tactical nous has failed us this season in the championship and has failed before at the highest level. The league table doesn’t lie at this stage of the season,we ain’t good enough and MM should be accountable for this.
it may stick in the craw of the fervent home support, Albion were clearly superior and to deny that would be a gold and black delusion.
CLASSIC…
brilliant!! we are top of the league say we a top of the league!!
Where’s the Wolfies gone?
Is it time to remind some of OUR supporters that TM has stood by his principles of open, classy football even when things have not gone to plan? It has taken enormous courage to stay in there in spite of the moaners and even the media saying, “You’ll never win anything with tippy-tappy football” We haven’t yet, but we should now and IT IS SO IMPORTANT THAT OTHERS MAY COPY! WM phone-in had Wolves supporters drooling over OUR football. Maybe MM will have a go next. They won’t be satisfied until he does. Let’s hope both teams win all their remaining matches.
And to return to that old chestnut ‘did the cup affect our league form?’ We’ve took 7 points out of 9 from the rearranged games.
It really hurts to say this, but well done Tesco Town. The best team won.
On the off chance we do make the play offs, please don’t mess it up Albion and miss out on automatic promotion because you’re one team we don’t want to meet again this season.
well done to you all, well be a class above the rest next year when youre bottom of the premiership, trying not to boing back to us
come on wolves well show em
well done lst night you worked well lads
prepare for bitter childish comments eg youre going to do a derby blah blah
w-d-l
5-1-1
goals scored 11
now wolves figures
w-d-l
1-1-5
goals scored 3
wow go dingle army
only problem for you is you are THAT good, so why have you not had the title wrapped up 4 or 5 games ago?
Now prove me wrong and go on and win the title…..and wish us luck in our objective too!
av some dingles!!!
You’ve done us a favour. We’re clearly not ready for promotion, just like you weren’t last season. Now you are. You had a lucky escape losing to Derby, and I suppose we’ve just had ours.
Simon
Oh happy days, top of the shop with 3 games to go, but lets not start crowing yet, we’ve 3 more games to go and as we’ve already seen, no one likes leading the table, so we need to carry on the good work already done.
As for the dingles, would like to see them make the play offs to add a bit of spice at the end of the season and as I’ve said before, would like to see the Baggies, Blues, Villa & the Wulfs in the top flight again.
One bit of business TM and JP need to sort and sharpish is both SuperKev and Zollie Gera’s siggy on a new contract, pleeeeeeese !!!!!
Boing boing
Completely agree. ALBION ARE A CLASS ABOVE, but I think with our new owner and him getting the club for a tenner meant he could invest the £30mil Sir Jack wanted into the club, not to get a club on the cheap. We need to buy some quality who are capable of playing at Albion’s level. Building a young team and watch it develop is a risky plan because if we fail to win promotion the best players will be snapped up!
The only time we were a good team was when Dave Jones spent some money and on experienced players!
Lets see that cheque book Steve!
Does anyone else get the impresion that the author of that artile is a dingle?
well done baggies, a much needed win in the final push for the promise land. keep it up.. boing boing
Baggiedad, you have clearly forgotten that we beat you in the Masters last year, now that’s football!!!!
We knew we had this performance in us and deep down, I guess Wolves fans were fearing it. The only questions in my mind beforehand were, could we keep our composure and play our football in a fierce Wolves derby? and have Wolves really improved as recent results suggested?
Well, the first question was answered emphatically. The second one it seems Wolves are pretty much where they were last season.
After all the nonsense beforehand, the Baggies have proved again and beyond question that we’re quite a way ahead of the Wolves.
2 - what class you have. You were the better team but we will always be the bigger club with the more passionate support.
rely on the old man again not scored this time but set it up where would be without him
Wolves were never in the same class as the albion to be fair and deep down all the dingles know this..However i wudnt mind them gettin to promised land if we get there… willl be good to show those cocky manc and scousers wat a real derby is all about… Quality atmosphere last night..best i hav ever experienced… albions and wolves fans in good voice and banter…and the flair was just quality…ironic cos we r a flair team..
Oh dear, where have all the dingles gone?
I had trouble getting onto the site last night with all the dingles posting their drivel, well where are they now? back under the rock they crawled out from me thinks.
We came up against a decent outfit last night, but we are still learning (I hope).
Hate to say it I was more worried about the team from last year.
Up the Wolves
No doubting you are a class act. What bugs me is that i looked on e&s after getting back from molineux last nite, and there were 40-50 comments posted at 950 - 1000pm saying how poor wolves were and wba shouldve won by more, and all the usual comments about how we were outplayed, but how would they know? because posting comments at 950pm , around 5 minutes after final whistle(if that) would be near impossible if they had actually been! I dont mind the banter and losing bragging rights because u are the class side in this division, but commenting on fine details of a game they didnt see??….harsh. I have spoken to 3 baggies today who said 5-5 wouldve been fair!!!! it was an excellent advert for midlands football and long may it continue! well done and good luck, were gona need some now!!
Changed ya mind now aint ya Mr Swain?
Now print an apology for doubting that the football would win against a bunch of hoofers.
I reckon the dingles have lost their chance of getting out of this division…..another 3 premier teams coming down all with parachute payments, Watford C Palace and Qpr will all be better next year plus about another 4 or 5 teams that will finish above you this year. Looks like a RELEGATION FIGHT FOR YOU IN 2008/2009
We HAMMERED Wolves easy, it should have been 10!
That game just shows how far you are behind the baggies !!….we won at a canter…..just sorry we wont be around for you to have another go next season….still…..Leicester and Cov aint too far so I guess they’ll be your derby game next year…(providing they stay up that is..)…hahahahahaaaaaaaaa……top o’ the league and we’re havin’ a laugh !!!
Was Martin Swain watching the same game as me? A thriller? I think not. More like park football.
All championships sides are poor this year. Heaven help the three that get promoted this year!
Was Martin Swain watching the same game as me?
It was park football at best.
All championship sides this year have been poor.
Heaven help all 3 sides that get propmoted this year. They’re all worse than Derby!
This blog has just become a forum for gloating west brom fans and bitter wolves fans (mostly). It’s a shame it can’t be about the football. What a bore you lot have become.
I will not gloat over last night. I have many friends who sit in the opposite camp and I truly wish them the best for the remainder of the season. These are the friends who have stood by me through tough times.
We have achieved nothing yet and we must remain phylosophical. A loss to Norwich on Saturday could mean promotion being determined on the last day. I will gloat if we reach the Premiership, but I will save it all for the fans of Derby County!
class always tells, zoltan the great, and the blue&white army conquer again,we are the best in the division, see u next year in prem, haha
20. you idiot we have an owner who will invest heavily in the club.
and we dont hoof the ball so thats also a load of crap.
we had an off night but of course you are superior so you never have an off day do you.
Leicester, Cardiff, pompey. you dont have off games and you score in every game then. NO. you could play at wembley for a month and would probably never score.
hope you do go up then you will realise that you aint as good and ready for the prem as you all think.
21. you are on aanother planet mate.
oh yes we got a thrashing. an whole 0-1 i wont be able to look at that scoreline in the stats come may.
makes better reading than sandwell 1 Leicester 4 doesn’t it. now thats an hammering and they are a poor team.
oh how did you get so wise.
Beat the dingles again 0-1, we are the best football side in the league, mabye you will win the playoffs then we can play you in the premiership next season that’s if m-m is still your manager
Gold’n'Black Wolf - I don’t know how much more we can prove our superiority over you and everyone else at the moment. You didn’t score against our woeful defense in two games, got beat on your own patch (again) and we are top of the league.
Boing BOing
The wolves are going up, the Baggies are staying down and the wolves are going to keep em there
See ya at Wembly Baggie boys.
I repeat:
All it takes is faith.
We’re going up again, We’re going up again,
We’re going up up up again.
Magic Mick will do it.
It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile!
Oh and I forgot. SEB for player of the month/year.
Bring on the Baggies.
Every dog has its day!
Why all this talk about 3 teams comming down with paracute money next season, and the division beeing so much stronger. Rubbish…what have changed ? That happens every season, and look at the 3 teams comming down last time around, paracute money or not. Watford ( probrely play off ) Charlton ( play off if lucky ) Sheff.U ( well well ) Boing Boing…Think we have a better chance this time, should we get promoted. Not kidding my self..its gonna be hard work staying up, but I´ll take the chance
Danish Baggie
You put your Gera in, your Gera out, in out in out, he scores and makes ya shout, he scoresd the lovely winner and your top of the league, that’s what it’s all about, Oh unhappy dingles, oh unhappy dingles, oh unhappy dingles, knees bent arms up, BOING BOING BOING!!!!
As long as Leicester lose this weekend I can’t see much resistance from Norwich, Southampton and QPR as they have nothing to play for ? It will only take one goal to secure the automatic promotion place. Bristol City play Stoke and a draw would be an excellent result for Hull and WBA. I think it will become alot clearer this weekend.
The 3 points from the Ratlies on Tuesday night was a great boost, thanks Mad Mick McCarthy.
I hate to admit but Tesco’s are what we are not… well organised, well managed, often entertaing and attacking with a huge variety of goalscoring options. It’s not just about money, I do not believe Wolves will achive any (lasting) success under the current regime of Muppet Mick, Connor & Moxey -how long will it be before others realise this? I have long been against Muppet for his dodgey selections and tactics (not to mention continually spouting utter rubbish), why did we play the same squad as the weekend when we failed to score from possession? Last night we needed players to penetrate like EASTWOOD and Kyle. As ever, same old story, huff and puff, more points dropped and and agressive strikeforce on the bench ..except for the last 15mins. - Collins is a liability and thank god we haven’t had to endure Muppet’s all time favourite S.Ward. Please Wolves be rid of these jokers!!! Wolves fans ask yourselves how it is that Muppet is very popular with baggie fans…..speaks for itself!!
You have to remember - Albion are a team that were relegated from the Premiership BUT kept a lot of their players. They should be better than Wolves because by comparison Wolves are a team being re-assembled following the Hoddle debacle that nearly shredded the team into relegation fodder. These things take time and it will be a little longer before the balance returns. Return it will though and we will all be able to smile and reek revenge when it does. Patience everyone - our time will come !!
39. michael,
you really are a bitter twisted individual aren’t you?
ffs, get off your soapbox you clown, you’re arguing with your own fans.
as a baggie i wish wolves all the best..i honestly do. if we do get promoted there would be nothing better than seeing the wolves up there too.
Michael, Michael, Michael….as Mr Morgan would say : Kaayme Down Kaayme down!…..You really took your perenial beating from the University of Football very badly as per normal..Your not a member of a local gun club are you? because you become “unhinged” at the mere sound of the name West Bromwich Albion….
stand up if you hate the wolves? so at the poorthorns with your 20,000 crowd average isnt that impressive is it? and its only a pound to watch!!! we didnt even know the albion fans were in the stadium until the 59th minute. i dont know why paul robinson was celebrating after the game he wanted out straight away last year but being morbidly obese unfortunately was the telling part in failing his medical. gera wants out and so does phillips still you have luke moore! cark hoefkens has slated your club and area your players do not respect your club and you have a passionless manager! were see you in the play offs!
you have had your 2 years of dominance but we have an average age of 21 in our squad. We have a better stadium, better history, better fanbase, bigger average attendances, dont sell tickets for a pound, all our players want to play for wolves unlike the albion (see above) a healthy financial situation where if you do fail to go up this season you will be another forest or bradford. so tescos enjoy your gloating because the bigger picture says one thing the futures bright the futures gold!
Michael’s having a tantrum!!!!! at his own set of fans…lol
God you lot are bigheads!
Yes you beat us, but you didn’t exactly batter us or anything. if Wolves won that you can bet we wouldn’t be taking the **** like some of you have. Some of you are talking like you’ve won the league. Your not exactly the most consistant of teams really are you?
We didnt really trouble your goal which is a dissapointment because I know Wolves can play much better, Keogh was invisible in that match, made a few decent headers which were all collected by kiely.
I still think we can make the playoffs but we obviously need to get as many points as possible. As for you Albion, pride comes before a fall, and like I say, your acting like you’ve won the league already.
UP THE WOLVES!
Oli “too often a fringe player” At least someone agrees with me. He was woeful, stuck in 1st gear all game!
53. Laughingwolf - re-name yourself cryingwolf.
As for morbidly obese - look no further than Michael Gray and Sylvan E’likes Cakes.
giving 3000 tickets per home games to local schools since xmas? £1 per ticket also. enjoy your 2 years of dominance but i tell you what the long term futures at the mol, if you do fail to go up this season and your form has been indifferent no more parachute payments no more money and although many of your best players will leave even if you do go up you will be a forest or bradford with no money, suits the poorthorns though!!!
59. yes michael grey is obese?????? still no comments on phillips, kiely, gera, robinson etc eyeing the exit door. the problems are at the poorthorns not at the mol. your not home and dry yet, norwich could be back lash?!
PAUL ROBINSON WANTED OUT BUT FAILED A MDEICAL AT WIGAN, WHY IS HE ACTING LIKE HE’S ALBION THROUGH AND THROUGH. HE’S ONLY THERE BECAUSE HE HAS TO BE!
53 & 54… laughingwolf - you are a deluded fool! How you can allow yourself to publish so many inaccuracies, delusions of grandeur and downright lies in two short paragraphs beggars belief!
It’s cr@p like that that makes you wulvz fans so disliked around the country.
You’ll be telling us all in your next pile of cr@p, sorry i mean post, that you are the Man Utd of the Midlands… Fool!!!
Didnt paul robinson go for a transfer but failed the medical? albion hero but dont wantto be there? kevin phillips wont sign a new deal? albion hero? zoltan geras agent trying to get him a transfer as he wants out? albion hero? dean kiely slating your fans? albion hero. carl hoefkens slating the club and local area? albion hero. great to know your players are committed hey baggies?
61. God it’s you again coming out with tripe. Phillips isn’t eyeing the exit door… He wants a TWO YEAR DEAL which we aren’t necessarily prepared to offer him. We want him to sign a one year deal with an option of a further year given his injured knee might not last. So he actually wants to STAY if you look at it properly!
Kiely wanting to leave? That’s the first i’ve heard about that! More fiction from laughing ‘Billy Liar’ wolf me thinks. But even if he did i would say thanks for the 18 months but we need a better keeper now anyway. He could always go to a lower division club than ourselves, like wulvz. He can replace Hennessey, as in your words ‘he must be eyeing the exit door’ as there is speculation about his future too remember. Does that mean Ebanks ‘Nathan’ Blake is too?
Robbo wanted to leave 12 months ago - he failed a medical - it’s history mate - you know history never lies - unlike you! He’s not eyeing the exit door now!
Even Gera isn’t looking to leave - he is merely out of contract in the Summer and would be a fool (like you) to not keep his options open while our future is unclear! Fortunately for us he isn’t a fool else he would have probably missed his chance on Tuesday to get us the three points and take us top of the table!
Good to have a couple of worthwhile posts amongst the rest.
11 Cyril.
Great point. I’ve said before that if we get up this season and make a go of it in the prem, some of the other bigger c’ship clubs Wolves, Palace, Leicester etc might be encouraged to follow suit. Perhaps it might be the beginning of the end for the Graham Taylor hoof and hope merchants.
18 Simon.
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. The tears we were allegedly crying at Wembley last year should have been tears of joy. Losing that game was the best thing to happen to us. The lunchtime legends jumped ship and admiral Mowbray was able to steer the good ship Albion forward with a hand picked crew. Perhaps if you fail to reach the play offs it may have the same benefit for you. Having said that I think you’ll get into them.
Laughing Wolf.
Speak with um forked tongue. Needs to see um medicine man keeps repeating um self. Didn’t make um much sense first time.
PS. Am I the only one to read Michael’s posts in the voice of Rick Mayall doing Kevin Turvey?
laughingwolf Phillips wants to stay, as stated by him severel times. Only a matter of 1 year ( prefered by wba ) or 2 years ( prefered by Phillips ). Players loyalty today is a far cry from the good old days,( money talks ) but in general, I dont see Wba having a bigger problem with that, than most clubs. Finaly….get over the loss, and dont be so bitter. Most of your fellow Wolves friends have done so. Danish Baggies.
@ 54 laughingwolf,
how many times do we have to hear the old “we got more history/bigger fanbase/better stadium” (delete as applicable) nonsense from you. take off those stupid rose tinted specs…they went out of fashion with the wolves.
history between the two clubs is very similar, your stadium is not better than ours and as for having a better fanbase? do the maths, west brom has a population of 130K (ish), wolverhampton has a population of 230K (ish)
wolvers average 2000 more than the baggies per match…..theoretically wolves *should* have at least 40,000 fans there every week considering you have almost double the population of west brom. that you don’t actually fill the ground says a lot about your fanbase doesn’t it?
63 you cant argue with any of comments regarding your players wanting out as its been made public and that wolves are bigger club so keep the isults to yourself unless you can come back with a constructive argument then dont post! what am i wrong on? posts 53 & 54 state the players that will/wanted to leave the hawthrons? (fact) and that wolves have a bigger and nicer stadium (fact) bigger average attendance (fact) more history (fact) younger squad (fact) your parachute payments stop at the end of season if you dont go up (fact) wheres the argument? typical tesco bags no savvy!
none of you have commented on geras angents comments of him wanting to leave? robinson is your hero yet wants to jump ship? our stadium is far better than the poorthorns and its a silly argument to suggest otherwise. we do have a bigger following and indeed are a bigger club. your club have 3000 tickets fr4ee to schools and £1 a ticket to kids thats why your getting 20,000 fans! otherwise your no bigger than barnsley or burnley? fair?
Oh dear, Wolves fans have to resort to the ‘we have more fans’ argument, the only reposte when you’ve lost all the football arguments, and even then its full of lies and delusions !
West brom do not give 3000 tickets away to School kids and the fact we have a kids for a quid scheme is something to be proud of. The fact that people take up this offer shows the potential fan base the baggies have, football has become prohibitively expensive to the normal working man, the traditional football fan if you like. I say well done Baggies for realising real supporters have been priced out of attending - and once they see how football should be played there’s no chance they’ll consider paying to see the drivel your lot serve up.
laughingwolf - get a life. Read 68, he makes a great point without disagreeing with what you have said.
And what I would say to you and most of the other wolves fans on here who are coming out with all the rubbish over grounds, fanbases, promotion and prem relegation odds is: just accept the loss last night. Yes we won and yes the result from that is we have the bragging rights (for now anyway).
As one wolves fan said on here, your time will come, and I agree, at some point it will. Until then its our time, so begrudgingly accept it instead of coming out with sour grapes because when you lose, if you come out with anything other than acceptance you just look like a bigger loser.
Swallow your pride and sit tight until its your teams time. Then we’ll reverse the roles and we’ll button it for a while. Until then, stop trying to take the glory away from us silly green envious fool…
70.. I know its a disgrace isnt it we are so disorganised have no fans have no decent players and those left want to leave.
Yet we where still to good for Wolves on Tuesday
I think that says it all dont you think
laughingwolf , Please stop making a fool of your self,,,,,,,,,, !!!???
Laughing Wolf.
BIG CLUB???..What happened to you lot when your “BIG” club needed you in the Eighties??? Gates of 3-4000 a regularity..TWO wooden stands condemmed and empty…Where oh where oh where were you when they needed you?..let me guess down the Mander Centre with your missus….SHAME ON YOU..THE LOT OF YOU…..
6 you said it all apart from MM is useless we need incey or big sam.
Tuesday 15th Aprils may be the last one for a while.
Shame for us all really, cant beat it.
Boing Boing
can’t really take this laughing hyena sorry wulef serious. the boy’s a clown, can’t be a man with utter bile coming from his pen.bigger club more fans better stadium more cash.how much more boring can this get.if you want to get really boring, the baggies have beat you lot to everthing first, cup league, league cup, prem league.
{oh you beat us to league 3 and 4 } by the way hyena look at the babbies potty or custard bowl.what folks call it now. bit dated would you say.im going to get a life.c ya in the prem baggie boys.
astles no 9 shirt don’t worry local derbies always even up u will come straight back down and be the derby of the prem
