Win tickets to the Black Country Oscars!

This is your chance to walk up the red carpet and be photographed mingling with the crowds at a fantastic night of entertainment! The lucky winner of today’s competition gets six tickets to the region’s premier entertainment and leisure night, the Spotlight Awards, being staged at Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall on Sunday, May 4, plus £50 spending money. A runner-up gets four complimentary tickets along with £25.Organised by the Express & Star, supported by Heart fm and Wolves Civic and sponsored by Black Country Tourism, these awards are in their third year. The Hall will be packed but our winners have places at a reserved table on the ground floor, surrounded by the finalists and other VIP guests from the world of entertainment. Local celebrities are called up in turn to announce the winners for all the categories along with some five-star entertainment between presentations.

Anton du Beke and Erin Boag from TV’s Strictly Come Dancing will be performing, Noddy Holder MBE will be making a guest appearance along with other artists, including two acts from the finals of X-Factor who will be singing on the night.

Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start, dress code is club wear and once the ceremony has finished, there is a disco until midnight.
