Stourport Swifts boss Neil Hunt has warned his squad that they are playing for their futures ahead of the clash with Romulus tomorrow.
The Walshes Meadow outfit are comfortably safe from relegation and have no discernable target to aim for this season, but Hunt is planning a major rebuilding programme for the next campaign and aims to bring in at least five or six new faces in the close season.
Hunt said: “I’ve said to the players that they have got something to play for, because if they don’t do it they won’t be here next season. Simple as that. People are going through the motions.
“We always raise our game when we play teams at the top of the league and compete and you can’t do that - you need to be at your best week-in week-out.”
