A family funeral prevented me from joining in the pre match banter yesterday. I didn’t miss the nasty stuff on both sides but I wanted to wish my Baggie friends all the best for today. I realise that if you win today and again in a few weeks we will never hear the end of it but better you than all those Premier “fans”. So to Happy and everyone else I wish you a great day, one that you will remember for ever.

Proud to be as Baggie today. No tears here. Losing to Premiership Portsmouth by a dodgy goal in a cup semi final is no disgrace. Unlike losing to Morecombe in the League Cup you Dingle boneheads!!

  18. divingbaggie said:

Firstly….It was a record attendance for a semi final in the fa cup.

secondly, did you watch the game? We outplayed them and lost to a goal that came from a blatant handball.

Thirdly…you were knocked out of the playoffs last season AND the fa cup, yet you mock not seeing the irony that we were much more successful than you.

How mant times did we play last year and how many goals did we score against you?

    shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  19. Tommy Langley said:

Well played Pompey. Deserved victors by any criteria.

  20. bummer brown said:

S’funny the only time you’ll get to see Wembley is on the telly.

For one, I am proud of the way they played, if you lot can’t see that they played well and held Pompey for most of the game, then you are NOT football fans, just bitter and twisted Dingles.

  35. Jonah said:

    28. Wembley? Judging by your record in play off semi finals, you will not get there.
    30. Since when did we struggle to sell the tickets? The sale of them was staggered.
No doubt Morecombe were a tougher hurdle to overcome than Portsmouth on an off day.

One disaster down, one to come!I’ve seen so much twaddle over the past week but now I’ve had it confirmed. Empy vessels do make the most noise. As Kev said, I’m loving it.

A place at Wembley is wasted on your Tesco bags. The sight of one of your players asking the fans to raise the noise 2 minutes from time says it all.

Doing the double the Mowbury way - yeah right. The double bubble burst. Lovin it.

All my cherished memories of Wembley.
    1974, 1980, 1988, 2007 and 2008.

Cocky boggies - want some bacon to go with all that egg on your faces.

For those that continually bore wolves fans with pathetic “you are rubbish, we are ace,” drivel i have no sympathy. For those who have dignity and appreciate a higher plane of banter, my salutations, I as a wolves fan would have loved the opportunity to be there. look forward to our next meeting.

  43. jftjfghn said:

Yes, we lost against a premiership team but it was a good performance. Yes, we have underachieved this season but it shows that all the dingles have is the fact that we are underachieving. We aren’t doing great but we are still doing better than you. What does that say about you?

This amazinin CUP RUN wont even go down in history now.. What a shame :D

  48. wolveswolves said:

Shandee, I think most of us would have loved the wolves to have been there. Your comments are just showing you up to be an idiot.

  49. Jonah said:

    45. Yes. Armchair fan today. Still enjoyed the Albion outplaying Premiership oppostion for most of the match at Wembley in a match we only had an outside chance of winning. We were a good advert for The Championship. I’m sure that Miserable Mick’s Hoof! merchants would have provided riveting entertainment!!

  50. Dingle Shandee said:

who are u to call me an idiot i have my opinions

Ofcours if of loved wolves to be there and im pretty damn sure if wolves had got there and i had been playin my mouth like terrywalsallbaggy i would of got some stick from the baggiez wen we lost…. 53. johnwolf said:

35-staggered-what right up until the day before?
sandwell town is very small, been to wembley twice and won bugger all.
Portsmouth were very, very poor and should have still beat you by more goals, so it’s a good job they did’nt play well eh! as for your lot playing well-YOU LOST-AGAIN! just as you did against the rams.

  54. TerryDudleyNonBaggie said:

    What is it now?
Doing the SINGLE the Moanbury way!!

  55. DannyUSA said:

All I can say is that pompey were very poor and a good job for them they were only playing a championship team. A premiership club would have beaten Portsmouth. The baggies didn’t ever look like scoring even in the first half. If Pompey can beat West Brom on a bad day, imagine what they would have done if they played well.

  56. shatpankwolves said:

“you went all that way and you lost”

  57. mk wolves said:

Pompey went to wembley baggies did a trembley la la la la la la .WE ARE WOLVES.

  58. divingbaggie said:

boshock. Nice to see that there are some true football fans who support the wolves.

Great to see that the wolves only chance to celebrate is when the albion lose.

I am albion through and through but if the wolves had made the semis , i would have routed for them to win. I guess we are just different kinds of people.

I also would love to have the wolves in the prem with us next season.

I think you lot are truly disgusting and should hang your heads in shame

Bad luck. You should have had a free kick when Baros handled the ball. Would have preferred Albion to win rather than Portsmouth. Can return to “hating” you a week on Tuesday.

  61. NottsWolf said:

The baggies saw plenty of the ball but they didn’t do a lot with it. Portsmouth were never in trouble even though they were not at their best.

I’m not gloating, just telling it as it was.

  62. VINDALOONY said:

Thank you God i never doubted you

  63. Pope said:

You dingles make me laugh. We narrowly lose one - nil to a side 6th in the prem and now you can’t wait to play us because you think we are easy pickings. I seem to remember this confidence coming from the custrad bowl going into last seasons play off semi’s and we all now how that ended. I can’t wait to play you tatters and show you what a real quality side is all about. Baggies crying at Wembley?? Not as good as dingles crying on their own patch………again!!!

  64. Big Rich wolves said:
