Albion captain Jonathan Greening today revealed that thoughts of lifting the FA Cup are giving him sleepless nights.
The Baggies skipper says he has hardly slept since Tuesday’s victory at Cardiff as he daydreams about leading the club into their first Cup final for 40 years.
Greening can hardly contain his excitement as he prepares to skipper Albion against Portsmouth in the Wembley semi-final tomorrow.

“I don’t think I’ve slept for the last three nights,” said Greening.
“I just keep thinking about lifting the FA Cup. It’s quite a scary thought.
“I keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking it. It would be a great honour for the whole club and it would be an absolute dream come true for me.
“If we got promoted, which is the main aim, that would still top it off. But if we can do both it would be an amazing season.”
Albion have their best chance in more than two decades to add to the club’s five FA Cup triumphs.
And Greening admits he is eying his own place in Baggies history as the first captain since Graham Williams in 1968 to lift the trophy.
“It is on my mind,” he said. “It’s every boy’s dream to play in the FA Cup final and it’s been mine since I was a little lad.
“To win on Saturday and to lead the team out in the FA Cup final would be a dream come true.
“And to actually lift the trophy would be amazing.
“Bobby Hope, our chief scout, who is an FA Cup legend, is always taking the mickey out of me and telling me about winning it in 1968.
“He jokes he doesn’t want me to take his mantle but I’m sure he would love it. The staff have all filled me in about the last time they won.”
