Shrews thrash Albion youngsters

Shrewsbury 5 Albion 2

A young Albion side were beaten for the first time in four games by a powerful and experienced Shrewsbury outfit.

Bartosz Slusarski opened the scoring for Albion with his sixth goal in four games,

Triallist Martin Riley equalised after 38 minutes when he converted a corner from Jimmy Ryan.

Slusarski saw a decent opportunity saved by Bevan as the sides went in at the break level.

Shrews took the lead  when Guy Madjo volleyed home and the Cameroon striker followed that up three minutes later.

Albion created a couple of opportunities of their own, most notably for Stefan Morrison, but Bevan did well to block the striker’s shot as he looked set to half the deficit before David Worrall’s corner was volleyed in by Pike on the hour mark.

Darren Moss and Luke Jones added late goals for the home side.

You get beaten 5-2 by Shrewsbury and the Wolves nearly beat the champions elect.
Albion have no youth set-up and struggle to fill their stadium. You’re a funny little club really.

Wolf2008. “A funny little club”! Over the last decade or so this funny little club has slowly built the foundations to go from strength to strength an all by our OWN merit. Wolves are finding out that a little more substance and drive is needed to turn themselves into a respected club. Jack failed to buy success with all his millions and without them you would probably still be in the lower leagues watching poor football from just a single stand! I think it about time that bitter wolves fans as yourself actually realize and respect that we are a progressive club that is moving forward. “a little comment from a little mind”!

Its just par for the course on here now - ignore the facts - lets pretend that we didn’t lose and we can laugh at the albion for losing….

Although a big “well done” goes to the express and star for the two headlines “Wolves youngster push forest close” and “Shrews thrash Albion youngsters”.

Don’t they realise that this is likely to confuse people like wolf2008 into thinking that wolves get points for losing ??

This paper should take a more responsible attitude to the hard of thinking.
