Dudley Sports won the toss and decided to kick with the strong wind that was blowing a gale all afternoon, the plan back fired when they found themselves two goals down within twenty minutes, leaving themselves with a mountain to climb.

The mountain looked even bigger when Mitch Lester hit the bar from twenty five yards after 35mins, it simply didn’t look as though it would be there day.

They did find a way back though when Ross Harris rose and headed home a Mitch Lester corner just as Sports were getting on top, the equaliser was a quality goal good build up play involving a number of Sports players lead to Lee Lough flicking thru Ross Harris who ran on dropped his shoulder and went round the keeper to level the scores.

If Goodrich had thought the hard work was done they were wrong, Sports took the game to them from the re start and with the impressive Lough they were carving Goodrich apart with deep runs from midfield, they should have gone in front almost immediately when Luke Paskin was up ended inside the box for what was a harsh penalty.

Mitch Lester stepped up and hit the ball well but the Goodrich keeper was equal to it and palmed the ball away.

This did not up set Sports rhythm and they went in front from another Mitch Lester corner being headed home by Matt Bridgwater from close range.

The game was sealed when Andy Blakeley cleared a corner to Anthony Cox who slipped the ball to Lee Lough he rounded the keeper and fired home.
