Charlton 1 West Brom 1

Kevin PhillipsThe Baggies were held to a 1-1 draw against fellow promotion-chasers Charlton at the Valley.

Greg Halford scored the opener for the home side when he headed in Darren Ambrose’s free-kick into the bottom corner of Dean Kiely’s goal.

But just before the break Kevin Phillips grabbed his 21st goal of the season when smashed in from close range.

Albion’s Zoltan Gera struck the bar with a volley in the closing moments.

Why would anyone be bothered to converse with someone who calls themselves “hate sandwell chavs” ??

Just another clown to be ignored.

I was happy with a point (would have took it before K.O) - but was even happier with the performance - we played well and battled - that augers well for the coming games.

Still really well placed - bring it on !!!!

What a great advert for football really enjoyed wathching it. The 2nd was excellent end to end thats how football should be played!!!

Worcester baggie if I where you mat I would trade mark your “MOWBRAY WAY.. OH YES” it seemms to be popular enev with our wolfie friends!!!.

2.. The season has not “promised” anything the team are in the semi final of a major domestic cup and are doing ok in the league. The club is financially sound even if we dont get promoted the club can still keep the squad together should it wish too (gera and phillips exempt due to end of contracts)
The season is where it is through hard work by and determination of the players staff and management of the club.

I for one are very proad of the way the club I support still trying to entertain the fee paying public even when results do not go there way.

What you want to watch is your choice but I like to entertained for my hard earned cash!

We may loose at Wembley who knows? but it will be entertaining and 100% you will be watching

An excellent point IMO. Charlton have been in the play-off positions vertually all season, having only dropped out last week after 3 bad results, they would have been very focused on this fixture and well up for it - so well done Albion! To play them 4 times in a season without losing once is a great achievement in itself. I don’t think they’ll drop too many points during the run in, particulary at home.

well done lads it could of been better but a good result against the Addicks still a couple of points from the Stoke and Bristol City it suprised me 2 see Slusarski on the bench!

funny how opinions have changed. we have had a great season whatever happens. 3 games ago it was typical arrogant baggies. since then you have picked up 2 points out of 9 been hammered at home by a relegation side and had your club slated by your right back. oh dear being emabarresed the mowbray way!

We are at Wembley for the second time and the Wolves fans think we are having a bad time. All they will have to watch on the 6th April is the boat race and grand national. We will be at the FA CUP semi final.laugh as much as they like the only thing they have had to celebrate in the last 2 seasons is 1home win and a drwa against us.Its us who should be mocking them for there total lack of achievement.
