Willenhall 0 Sutton Coldfield Town 2

Willenhall Town FCHigh-flying Sutton Coldfield went away from Noose Lane with all three points to help their push towards the play-offs.

Sutton took the lead on 15 minutes. They were awarded a very dubious penalty decision and Nathan Moran made no mistake.

They could have doubled their lead soon after. Justin Rowe’s excellent cross found James Quiggin six yards out but Stuart Brock made a fine save from the striker’s header.

From the restart Willenhall nearly equalised but Edwards’ curling effort from the edge of the area went narrowly wide.

Sutton added to their tally after 54 minutes. Justin Rowe’s header was cleared off the line by Stamps, but Willenhall failed to clear and Ed Booth hammered home.
