Evesham United 0 Stourbridge 0

Stourbridge FCStourbridge picked up a good point from a goalless draw at league leaders Evesham played out in difficult windy conditions.

The Glassboys were dealt an early blow when striker Rob Taylor hobbled off after just four minutes.

he strength of the wind was indicated during the half when Danny Hodnett volleyed the ball forward from ten yards inside his own half and Lewis Solly watchfully saw the ball bounce up over his head and the crossbar.

Evesham might have gone ahead in the 57th minute when a poor free-kick from Ross Collins enabled the home side to break.

The ball was fed through to Gary Hay on the left-hand side, however, he blazed his high and wide.
