Albion hero calls for league focus

emp-57611353.jpgIshmael Miller today challenged Albion to move within touching distance of the Premier League before their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

The quarter-final hat-trick hero believes the month between now and the semi-finals could make or break Albion’s promotion campaign.

And he has insisted all eyes at The Hawthorns will be on the Championship campaign despite semi-final fever gripping fans.

Miller said: “We’ve got to be professional now. The quarter-final is behind us and we have to go out on Wednesday and get a win and do the same on Saturday.

“We need to get as many points as we possibly can to get the club where we need to be.

“We have got a lot of games coming up now so hopefully we can make sure we are in those promotion places then we can put our 100 per cent attention onto the semi-final.

“The Premier League is the best league in the world and I feel I am able to play in it.

“Hopefully we can do it this year and do it and get to the Premier League.

“Albion is a great club and I felt it would be the best move for me.

“Hopefully I can get back up to the Premier League with Albion and we can establish ourselves as a Premier League outfit.”

Miller said attentions have already turned to Wednesday’s Championship clash with Crystal Palace at The Hawthorns.

“That’s the nature of this league and hopefully we can push on now,” said Miller, who turned 21 last Wednesday.

“We need to put this game behind us now and pick up as many points as we can to get into the Premier League, which is where I think this club should be.”
