Charges over hit-run death

A man appeared in court today charged with causing the death of a 25-year-old Black Country mother by dangerous driving.

Paul Richard Jones, aged 22, of Leonard Road, Wollaston, Stourbridge, was committed to crown court by Halesowen magistrates.

He is also accused of failing to stop and failing to report an accident, driving without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

The charges relate to an incident on Sunday when Leanne Moore was hit in Barrack Lane, Cradley.
