Stourbridge boss’ rallying cry

Stourbridge FCStourbridge chief Gary Hackett takes his team to Malvern this weekend with the message: “There’s still all to play for.”

The Glassboys are three points off the play-offs with  games in hand, but Hackett admits they must start stringing wins together soon to take advantage.

Striker Paul Danks is out but apart from that the Glassboys have a full squad to pick from.

And Hackett is looking for more of the same from his improving side.

“Malvern are not doing particularly well at the moment but we won’t take them lightly at all – we have to be on our guard or they will beat us,” he said.

“Now is the time to start putting that run of wins together because two or three straight victories now will get you right back into the top five.”
