Halesowen chasing winger signing

Halesowen TownHalesowen are attempting to push through the signing of a winger to replace leg-break victim Shane Paul in time for tomorrow’s trip to Cirencester.

Manager Morell Maison is targeting two unnamed players as the Yeltz look to respond to a first defeat in eight games last weekend.

The loss, 2-1 at home to Banbury, also saw Paul suffer two broken bones in his leg and he has now been ruled out for at least four months.

And Maison is looking to replace him.

General manager Colin Brookes said: “Morell has somebody in mind to bring in to play wide on the right.”

Maison is likely to be without the injured Zema Abbey (ankle) and Davion Hamilton (hamstring).
