Bully facing Rangers morale effort

Stafford Rangers boss Steve Bull faces the task of lifting his players off the floor for tonight’s crunch Blue Square Premier derby at Kidderminster.

Just 72 hours after his team fluffed their big chance to gain ground in the relegation dogfight, Bull will get no respite from the pressure of being a manager.

“It’s been a case of welcome to the real world,” he said.

“We had a real kick in the teeth on Saturday, but I’ve told the players they’ve got to forget about Farsley and get on with the job.

“They were all gutted after the match and they all sat with their heads down in the dressing room.

“I think they clammed up in the heat of the moment, it was the occasion that got to them.

“I’ve told them it isn’t over, not by a long way.”
