Totally different story to this thread but,

Congratulations to Kevin Phillips for being voted the Championships best player of the year.

  2. wolveswolves said:

Well who needs a genuine winger when you can play strikers and central midfielders on the wing.

Full of entertaining matches the Thick Mick way

Another top name being linked to the baggies !!!! I hear lampard and gerrard are unsettled, wonder if TM has lodged an interest there too !!! Loving it

why is barnes going to come wba??

your in championship and probably bottle the playoffs like last season

we love seeing you cry at wemberly and possible two times this season

OH DOING IT THE MOWBRAY WAY - choking

To Tony Mowbray, For Heaven’s sake, please warn your players that they are all playing for their places against Bristol Rovers tomorrow night at Sheffield Wednesday. We can’t afford to have any more slip ups! Promotion has to be the most important goal for the club. All of the team need to focus on the job in hand!

  6. Happy_baggie said:

we8 - he is linked with us because we attract these type of players - live witth it.

I wondered which dingle would post the first “no chance” post. After Brunt, Morrison, Moore ect i thought you would have learned by now.

I’d love to see you guys cry at wembley but you never get there… still, I can always remember watching you all trickle out the smethwick last year… crying at the baggies, we watched you crying at the baggies Haaaaaaa !!!

  7. brummie rob wolves said:

Giles Barnes has been poor this season. Wolves do not need a player like him. Why? If he is fit, Mark Davies is class!
Our only problem is, will McCarthy play him? I also think Gleeson could be one for the future.

3.hilltop baggie. Those two players would not want to yoyo up and down like tesco.

I think blake will score more goals than phillips this season, what does Happy baggie think.

    9….

i think you’ve been on those drugs again mate! not a chance

  11. wath wanderer said:

Oh dear happy baggie its taken you all this time to sink to the level of all the other silly daft posters and heres me thinking you were one of a few you could have sensible conversation with, Tut Tut. I’m not so sure Giles Barnes would suit your team anyway he always seems to me to be one of those luxury players they look good and spray a few passes now and again but more often than not they don’t graft. But good luck to you if you think he’s the type of player you need. he certainly wouldn’t fit in at MM headless chicken brigade.

Up the Wolves, heres hoping we manage to beat the saints on Tuesday.

1.. Tony Agree Congrats to KP on winning Championship footballer of the year Its a pity this Wolves paper has not bothered to run the story yet!!

  13. terrywalsallbaggie said:

9 little rich, i know what i think, your livin in cloud cuckoo land, super kev only played half a season still scored more than you lot put together boing boing going up the MOWBURY WAY

  14. NathanWolves said:

Happy, who said that about Morrison, I had never heard of him before, and Brunt…well Albion are better then Sheff weds so that’s a no brainer!
As for crying when we came out of the smethick, you wouldn’t have seen that because you was probably one of the “thicko’s” running on the pitch trying to get at us wolves fans!
Albion need to sort out there defence before they get carried away with there attacking options, not the Arsenal of the championship, more like the Newcastle!

  15. terrywalsallbaggie said:

4 WELUVWBA,cuz we can afford him you cant,i see you still have to play charlton away if by any chance you take any support as you approach london look to your left and you will see a big arch, thats wembley boing boing doing the double THE MOWBURY WAY

  16. roscommon_wolf said:

wolveswolves ur a discrace to wolves fans everywhere.shame.u should put on a wba shirt because thats how low u are in my eyes idiots like u are bringing this club down.super super mick

    10: Big Rich

You might be right that Blake scores more than Phillips by the end of the season, but you might find Bednar has scored more than both of them.
We could also have the possibility that 3 of our strikers manage to get 20 goals each this season. How many Wolves players have a chance of doing that????

Coming to think of it, how many of Blakes goals have come in a Wolves shirt????

  18. NathanWolves said:

17 Tony - It is fair to say you are very good going forward, Philips, Miller, Bedner etc.. but your frailties are in your defence. I’m not saying it is a poor defence but it is not a top 2 defence. Some of it might be down to the way that Mowbrays plays, very attack minded which exposes your defence, it’s all about balance which I don’t think you have found just yet. I’m not saying wolves have by any means but i think there could be a possibility of us meeting in the playoffs again!

  19. Happy_baggie said:

Nathan 18 - it had been a top 2 defence for most of the season and only the last couple of games have seen us loose top spot, so I don’t think I can agree with your statement.

Regards Morrison - he played in the UEFA cup final and made 60 appearances in the prem - WE had heard of him - however there were loads of wolves fans saying he wouldn’t drop into this league.. egg / face yet again.

What makes you think I would be running on the pitch ?? Have I ever given you reason to think i am a thug - or are you just trying to be “clever”… you failed.

    LOVIN IT.

  20. WORCESTERBAGGIE said:

TERRY ,, get ya rods out son i reckon they is biting well today ,watch out watch out terrys about,,,fill ya boots my son, could land some whoppers today..DOING THE DOUBLE THE MOWBRAY WAY,IN STYLE,,,OH YES.

    NathanWolves

Honestly you had never heard of James Morrison??
A regular at Middlesborough, also played in the UEFA cup final!!
Are you chief scout at the Wolves???

  22. NathanWolves said:

Now you say middlesbrough, yeah actually…….. Who did he play for in the UEFA cup final?
The chief scout dig was actaully pretty funny mate!!!

  23. Happy_baggie said:

p.s Nathan - you call us the Newcastle of the championship (which is bizzare given our league position)… but its still better than being the Leeds of the championship - i.e massive under achievers !!

Also its the media who gave us the Arsenal label - is anyone out there taking notice of wolves this season ?

  24. TonyWBA said:

He played for Middlesborough in the UEFA Cup final

    Middlesborough 0 Sevilla 4

Middlesbrough: Schwarzer, Parnaby, Riggott, Southgate, Queudrue (Yakubu 70), Morrison (Maccarone 45), Rochemback, Boateng, Downing, Viduka (Cattermole 85), Hasselbaink.
Subs Not Used: Jones, Ehiogu, Parlour, Bates.

And before any one says, he’s rubbish coz he come off after 45 minutes, read the below.

“Both sides made half-time changes, with Massimo Maccarone coming on for James Morrison and former Spurs striker Kanoute coming on for Javier Saviola.”

I will take it as tactical changes, coz i know Saviola ain’t rubbish.

Have you no self awareness at all?
    Roscommon and Wolveswolves.
Don’t mind you coming on here slagging us, don’t even mind you coming on here taking the p— but can you keep your internecine squabbling on your own site.
    Big IQ Rich.
Sorry I just can’t be bothered any more.

  26. NathanWolves said:

Real bully - yes i have SELF awareness. What’s that got to do with anything.
Maybe you could borrow some of Rich’s IQ

NathanWolves said: Mar 3rd, 2008 at 12:02 pm Now you say middlesbrough, yeah actually…….. Who did he play for in the UEFA cup final?

    MIDDLESBROUGH !!!!!

The clue was there if you looked REALLY hard…. best give ya mate Big rich a call - although I don’t think he can spare too much.

  28. adeyp said:

I didnt know the Tesco bags had so many fans, they’ve all left a comment on this site all 3 of them, the rest are Wolves fans.
Mind you its a bit like supporting Everton and living in Liverpool, Albion will always be a tiny little club in our shadow……we’ll keep the Gold flag flying high.

  29. Happy_baggie said:

28 - we can normally tell the wolves fans cos they are either moaning or booing…

Wolves - the Liverpool of the black Country…. OMG !

You made me spit my coffee all over the screen !

  30. brummie rob wolves said:

    29) your fans booed your team off the pitch after the Hull game I vaguely remember.

Has it all changed now you have registered your third win in 2008. Prolific!

  31. china said:

God you dingles r bitter and twisted! ay it obvious why Barnes is linked with us. if u carnt work it out for your self ill tell ya . the reasons being he’s: talented, young, good on the ball. etc a typical Tony Mowbray player. the type who would,nt think twice about joinnng you lot.

  32. Baggie Boy said:

30… Where you at the Albion against Hull I heard no booing of the players at the final whistle. I did hear a fair bit of discontent aimed at the referee so perhaps you could be mistaken I know this will of course be highley unlikley but you could possibly be wrong .

So can we stop all this silly Adolescent posturing

I believe West Bromwich Albion are better than wolves
you believe the opposite so just learn to live with it
