Rushall 0 Chesham 1

Rushall OlympicRushall Olympic’s British Gas League Division One play-off ambitions were hit as they lost 1-0 to Chesham United at Dales Lane.

The visitor’s victory stretched their advantage over the Pics to four points.

Rushall were forced to make one change to the team that had run riot against Berkhamsted Town at the weekend.

Influential defender Karl Johnson withdrew due to injury and was replaced by Richard Brown.

The only goal of the evening came on 31 minutes.

A crossfield ball picked out the darting run of Burnell who  and buried the ball beyond ‘keeper Breeden into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
