
This battered old Peugeot 206 was donated to Albrighton Players by a scrap dealer after a trawl of yards by set designer Louise Lea. However, it seemed as though the car wouldn’t be the star afterall, as it was 2 inches too wide to get through the stage door. But volunteers helped to turn the car on its side to force it through the door, as the actors and producers were determined not to allow their drama to turn into a crisis.
