After the first game being abandoned a month ago, this game was always going to be a tough encounter and that’s exactly how the game penned out.
Dudley Sports got off to a flying start when debutant Ashley Greeaaway finished well after a thru ball from Ross Harriss after thirty-two seconds.
Sports then had chance after chance to go further in front, the best of which fell to Lee Lough who headed over the bar from a corner.
With Sports kicking with the wind Darlaston were finding it very difficult to get out of there own half.
But with one minute left in the half experienced defender Chris Howard made a hash of a routine clearance, and a Darlaston forward nipped the ball off him and fired his shot into the net.

The second half was much of the same both teams doing there best to win the game but with Sports probably having the better of the chances.
The most of them being instigated by Chris Raybone down the left flank, going past Darlaston’s defence with ease.
There was one flash point in the game, when a Darlaston Centre half raced twenty yards into Sports dug to get involved, but largely the game was played in a fair manner with two competitive teams giving there all.
