The former Mayor of Walsall, Richard Worrall, has just started a national bus tour to promote a free travel pass and raise thousands of pounds for charities.

He has just set off on a 10-day tour of England to raise public awareness about the new national free bus pass scheme for the over-60s.

He will also raise sponsorship cash for five charities during the circular tour which will take him from the Midlands to Liverpool, the Lake District, the Scottish Borders, Scarborough, Lowestoft, Dover, Southampton, Lands End, Bristol, the Welsh Borders and back home.

Video journalist Wendy Lloyd met up with Richard as he set off.

Thousands of fantastic holidays to choose from!

Well done to Richard Worrall for his
way of traveling and making us aware
of the new law which comes in force on 1st April, also a good way to fund raise. Well done again Richard.
