DEAL: It’s the news Albion fans were hoping for. Ishmael Miller joins permanently from Manchester City on a three and a half year deal for an undisclosed sum. “There is the option of an extra year in the club’s favour,” says Steve.
DEAL: Big Czech goalkeeper Michal Danek joins Albion from Viktoria Plzen. It is for an initial six month loan, with a view to a further six month loan, reports Steve.

Of course there’s concerns about the defence - the God-promotion periodical Christian Dailly would have been useful for a few months, as would the likes of the non-playing Henchoz - but it wouldn’t be as exciting if we won every game to nil, now would it?

Will deadline day bring us the leftback we still need at Molineux? Gray is playing well but is 33 and prone to injury. For me this issue has not been resolved with Dan Jones returning from loan. I rate him highly but he is not a natural left-back stopper. Daniel Fox was overlooked, the Colchester left-back (Elokobi - spelling?) trail has gone cold and Stephen O’Hallaran continues to be linked with several clubs.
As for Kevin Kyle, I say there’s merit in having him to make an impact late on in games when needed. I don’t see him starting matches and it’s only a loan so let’s give him a chance.

There are moves a foot at molinuex to make a last ditch attempt to sign the big toe on Ronaldo’s left foot, if we get it, it’ll be a major coup and rumours are its could start against Watford! Have just been waiting for some kind of confirmation on the Elokobi deal, and it seems the E&S are on the trail. He’s a natural left-back but is equally comfortable playing on the left side of a central defensive partnership - sounds like exactly what we need. He is also 21 so is a great age… let’s hope this one comes off. BTW, his nickname is ‘Big George’ - wonder how Olifinjana will feel about another namesake joining!!

That clause will not be applicable yet, as he hasn’t technically signed for them yet. Before you start telling me it’s definite, that doesn’t matter, the point is that it is not common practice for such a clause to arise, untill a permanent transfer has been completed. So regarldess of whether that is an intended clause, it would not be used at this present time.

What u mean better than our other George? I think if you put Seyi in the team that played on tues instead of Henry whose been off form lately… it looks pretty impressive… Seyi has such a good engine and dont see how anyone can critisise him… even tho i agree that he hasnt been as good as he showed last season
