Willenhall boss Dean Edwards believes that the next the next two games will show him how far they’ve come recently.
The Lockmen drew 1-1 at second placed Leamington last weekend and they take on league leaders Evesham tomorrow before entertaining Chasetown next Saturday in a tough run of fixtures.
Edwards believes that they outplayed Leamington and should have come away with a win.
And he insists, therefore, that they are in with a good chance against the Worcestershire side.
“We’re playing the top three in the space of a couple of weeks and these games will tell me where we stand against the best teams in the division,” he said.
“If we play like we did in the first hour against Leamington, we’ve got every chance.
“Evesham are a good side with quality players and Paul West has got them playing well.
“They’re another side who are moving to a new ground and they’ve got a decent budget, so they’re looking for promotion this season.
“They’re a strong, physical side, who are well organised and difficult to beat and they’ve got the best keeper in the division in Nathan Vaughan.”
