I cannot believe that someone really might want to take Hartson off our hands, I’m hoping it happens but i don’t think it will.

    Tony

    It simply wont happen mate,
no club in our division will take
him, Norwich sent him back before
    the loan deal was up.
And certainly none of the lower league teams, where money is tight
is going to take a chance on someone
who cannot be bothered, to even make the slightest attempt to get fit.

No mate, we are stuck with
    Arse-ton, and his £15 grand a week.

Norwich didn’t send him back for football reasons, Delia was suffering burn out.

The John Hartson wages problem could easily be solved, just get Butcher & Baker (formerly Dormston Pies)to sponsor him!

Iv heard local team Kidderminster Harriers are intrested in Hartson on a pay as you play deal.

    Jerel Ifil:
Just read about him on wikipedia.
On his day,he’s a good centre back, but on a a bad one likely to be sent off!
    Procede with caution!

Latest Big John news. He’s following Vinnie Jones to Hollywood, been offered two roles, Mr Creosote in the remake of Monty Python’s Meaning of Life and Jabba the Pizza Hut in Star Wars Return of the Meat Pie.

Still no confirmation on the WBA pages that Danek has signed yet, despite your report yesterday, so surely E&S this is a deal still to complete and warrants a mention on the ins section at Albion

Harton has just signed for tipton town so he can be closer to his beloved PIE FACTORY Mad o’roukes.

    Hartson!!
Not worth the price of a pie/pint can’t see another club taking him on if they have to pay him wages(anything) 50p? What a signing he was. Biggest mistake in Albions history. But we all make them!!

Hartson’s favourite groups - Sweet, humble pie and half man half biscuit.

I read a recent headline “Hartson in roasting scandal” - turns out he was baking a cow in the team bath…

  15. Terry said:

Division 2 league side Chester City wanted him for his experience with this young side managed by former baggie player Bobby Williamson.
He turned Chester down flat reading in the local press.

    Roasting Scandal! Classic!
    15 Terry:
    He turned Chester down…..
He would’nt do the same to a Balti!

  17. The Real Bully said:

    15 Terry.
I remember Bobby Williamson as being an overweight centre forward with us, perhaps BFJ doesn’t fancy the competition at the local Firkins.

  18. JimDavis said:

Dudley Wolf (13) That’s a bit harsh, I think he still scored more than your top striker last season. Plus he won us at least 2 games last season (Hull and Derby)

Wales… They play football ?? They should enter some of these tournaments that other countries play in…

    Swansea (LOL)

Yeah hartson has been a good player (not sure “wonderful” has ever been accurate) - but he is a disgrace now - fat, big red face - but happy to take his £££££ every week…

Not sure who 19 supports - but i bet he wouldn’t want hBFJ to sign for them.

Hartson - end of a legend.

Notice you didn’t leave a forwarding address for delivery. Celtic can have him back, we’ll send him by Pickfords in installments. West Brom are a team who’ll be playing in the prem next season, while you’re lot dream of it. You only keep going because you get in the Champions league every year due to lack of opposition in Scotland, if you had to qualify on merit you’d sink without trace. Happy Hogmanay, och aye the noo.

  23. Stoke Wolves said:

Hooray, at last we are not the only regional club with nothing in the in box!!

  24. jim telfer said:

listen, its only jealousy cos hartson is minted and everyone who meets him adores him.ok admitedely he aint the same player now as 5 years ago but if flathead mowbray would stick with him fit or unfit he would have got your tiny 5th biggest club in the midlands up this or last year, man is o natural goalscorer and every genuine soccer fan knows it.

  25. Alfie said:

apparently the chester players were prepared to strike if they signed lardy. His weekly salary - greatly reduced from the 15K currently on since Albion were going to give him a bit of a pay off to get rid - was still going to be more than the rest of the team put together. And they weren’t having it - allegedly

    Jimbobtelf-
Your list of world class managers is amazing! To anyone else it would look like a list of second rate no hopers, but to a fan of scottish football, wow- what a line up!
I can’t believe i’m actually taking the side of the albion! but at least they’re not playing in an amateur standard league.

Your theory is backed up by the queue of managers clamouring for his signature. Get real.
