A Staffordshire artist has started a controversial new project.
Pete Mason of Hednesford is creating a portrait of missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann - out of postage stamps.
The artist is aware that he may face criticism for his choice of subject.
But he says he hopes it will help find Madeleine by bringing fresh attention to the hunt.
Video journalist Victoria Hoe went to meet the artist at his home and filmed his work.

YOU HAVE MY BLESSING. THE MCCANN’S NEED SOME POSITIVE EFFORT! GREAT JOB MR. MASON.
Well done Mr. Mason. The more the image of Madeleine stays in the public worldwide the better are the chances of finding her and to bring her safe to her awsome family.
Who cares what the critics say!! It is NOT their child who is missing!!People in this world need to do whatever they can do to help in finding these missing children - not make bad comments on what people are doing to try and help! What’s wrong with these critics anyways?? Great job Mr. Mason. What you are doing is helping to spread the word - what a wonderful person you are for doing so!
For another way people can help in spreading the word on missing children please go to an official site called: http://www.foreversearching.com
and also: findmadeleine.com
Any help you can give is wonderful - just need basic computer skills and a bit of your spare time on the computer - this can make a huge difference in helping these missing children. Please check out these sights if you can help.
What an excellent idea!! I can’t wait to see the finished product. I’m sure that the McCann’s will appreciate your efforts here in helping them in their search for their beautiful daughter, Madeleine. God Bless You!
Thank you for your job Mr. Mason. God blesses you.
We feel that this is being done in an honourable way with good intentions (That the artist has inevitable publicity also through this is irrelevant). I’d say it ‘will’ make people think & look twice about this child & her family, & is coming at the right time with Easter Holidays approaching for people (going abroad again) in their hundreds of thousands, who will be reminded of this & who ‘may’ see something worth reporting.
Well done Mr Mason! I really look forward to seeing the finished product and I am sure the McCann family will greatly appreciate your initiative to keep their beautiful little daughter in the spot light - where she should remain until she returns to where she belongs. Hopefully soon! Bless you! Bless Madeleine and her family!
What a great way to show the McCann family that we have not forgot Madeline and to revive the story with the press once again. This country should not rest until she is found.
